Delivery Delay

Hello,

Failed delivery today (said no one was in, they were) and first available re-delivery is Saturday.

I've contacted the delivery company and the supplier.

I will try and collect tomorrow morning but will the temperature be ok? How will I know?

No reply from supplier as yet and delivery company said re-delivery definitely not poss til Sat.

It's more than 1 pen so £££s.

Please help. Feeling very stressed.

When was it despatched? It should be OK for up to approx 72hrs if well packaged, and the weather has cooled recently- at least where I am.

My parcel has gone on a little day trip to a seaside town today, so hoping I get it tomorrow. 🤞

Arghhhh. Went up the delivery office, it's on a van to arrive at some point today. That is good. Except I won't be here to check if the cool pack is still cold (son will be but no one knows I'm on it so I do t want it opened).

Presumably f it goes straight in the fridge, when I get home late tonight I have so idea if it was still frozen (good) or liquid (bad).

Can't you just ask your son to put the whole package in the fridge? He doesn't need to know what it is or open it. I'm sure there's some skincare or whatever that needs to be kept in the fridge?

Yes of course, but I'm concerned that the cold chain will have already been broken and I won't know as I'm not here to check it myself. Am I over thinking it?

The odds are in your favour that it will still be cool and absolutely fine, as I'm assuming it was despatched on Wednesday.

I have had one delivery on hot day where ice packs had completely melted and my pharmacy were adamant it was still fine, that was 3 pens and I went on to have no issues with them so fingers crossed
