Anyone been through Oviva?

I have been referred to Oviva for WLI and wonder what peoples experience has been? So far they have rejected my application once because they claimed I needed additional blood tests, and the doctor who did it back in April has left. Now got it sorted and new referral has gone in, but Oviva say it has not arrived yet.

Here is my main concern - while waiting I self funded to see if it would even work for me. I had a little spare cash, but knew I could not do it for long, and now the prices have gone up, that is even more the case.

In the time i have been waiting, I have lost 20lbs and am now just over the cut off BMI. I am worried if I lose any more while waiting they will use this as another excuse to close the referral.

Anyone had experience of them?

I was accepted by Oviva but the nhs in my area wouldn't fund it so I paid privately. I know someone who lives in an area the NHS will fund so she is waiting to see what will be offered. Reading reviews it really was a postcode lottery even if you met Ovivas criteria. This may have changed now, it was about 8 months ago for me

Thanks for the reply. I dont feel very confident of being treated properly by them, and cant afford to pay privately for much longer, especially with the price increase. Better hold off on losing more til I hear from them.
