Creating this in advance, as the old thread is suddenly moving quickly due to recent events. No matter what challenges lie ahead we are still making amazing progress - so let’s keep supporting one another along the way as we approach 4 months ‘on the pen’.

The end of the month is here! I’ve totalled up all the 6 month submissions so far thank for posting or messaging me - this is who I have included on the attached pic - if I have missed you or made any errors, sorry and let me know, and I’ll update it at the weekend.

Happy end of a life-changing 6 months and here’s to the next 6 - probably slower but equally worthwhile!

Our current total stands at 1154lb!
That’s 82 and a half stone,
or 524kg.

According to Google we have lost the equivalent of:

A European bison (female or smaller male)
A Sumatran rhinoceros (smaller individual).
A common eland (smaller individual).
A small smart car or a similar light-weight vehicle.
A grand piano.
Several adult male humans combined (e.g., 6-8 average-sized men).
Approximately 23 bags of 50-pound dog food.

Well done to everyone!

Thank you so much for doing this. Not only are you a wonderful host of these threads but you've gone to so much trouble to work out our collective loss.

1154lb is insane!!! But in the best way.

I'm so happy to be here and so happy that we are all feeling lighter (both literally and figuratively) and happier.

Look at what we've achieved? I'm feeling very proud of us all ❤️

Merlin23 · 31/10/2025 08:22

Well done everyone amazing losses and honest conversations.
Weigh in today
Whoosh 3lbs gone
SW 202lbs 14st 6lbs
CW 140lbs 10st
Total loss 62lbs 4 st 6lbs
Never did I think I would get this low.

NSV this week I bought new size 12 knickers everytime I look at them I can't believe these tiny knickers fit me.
Going to Venice on Monday so I'll delay weigh in until Sunday.
I have eaten chocolate every week. I keep Curly Wurly's in the freezer under 100 calories and if frozen you can enjoy it slowly.

Have a great week.

Coventree · 31/10/2025 08:32

Good morning all, I’m back from my all-inc hols and put on…nothing! I’m amazed and so glad I went up to the 10mg as it gave me the edge to stop when I’d eaten and drank enough. And I’ve even posted beach/pool snaps of me, which would never happen before 🎉.

Wow, wow, wow! 1154lbs!!! That is truly amazing! Thank you so much for working this out and being the guardian of our threads @wlinewbie0425. That is a mind-blowing collective loss. 6-8 average sized men, gone, shaved off our bodies in 6 months, well done every last one of us 👏🎉👏🎉.

Here’s to the next six months together of continued loss, reaching goal weights, and learning how to maintain - cheers! 🥂

Wowzers!
Well done everyone!

Coffeeandallthebooks · 31/10/2025 08:44

That's such an amazing total loss!

Well done to everyone who has been so inspiring, you are a brilliant bunch and I don't think I could have done this without you.

@wlinewbie0425 thank you so much for this its an amazing confidence boost!

Merlin23 · 31/10/2025 09:09

The total for everyone works out as an average of 46lbs each.
Whether you've lost above or below that an average loss of 46lbs is incredible!
That is 1.76 lbs per week per person average

AbundanceofKatherines · 31/10/2025 09:37

🎉🎉🎉

Wow! How incredible is that? MJ is amazing and so are we - it’s not been easy and isn’t ‘cheating’. We have supported each other on this life changing journey and should take a moment to feel proud and strong and optimistic.

Some fab whooshes this week and some temporary plateaus - that whoosh could be coming to any of us next week :)

My Friday weigh in results:

wk 27 - 1.3lbs loss

I’m happy with that for several reasons - 1) it’s a 6 day loss as I weighed a day late last week. 2) I haven’t 💩’d for 3 days (v usual for me). 3) I am very sore from a gym class on Wednesday so probably some doms going on. 4) I moved down to 5mg (from 6) and jabbed a day late.

stats:

SW 12st 7.5 BMI 31
CW 9st 2.8 BMI 22.8

I’m planning on reducing by 0.5mg per week now until the beginning of January and the end of my pens. I might buy one more 2.5mg pen to save - just in case.

I have started tracking my body composition and am pleased to report a gain in muscle mass in the last 2 weeks of 0.3kg - and that with a loss of 2kg (these won’t match my weekly weigh in numbers as I do the body composition on different scales on a different day - just to be awkward). I’ve been working very hard in the gym!

Thank you so much @wlinewbie0425 for starting and maintaining this thread. For motivating and supporting us. Thank you everyone for the input, stories, shits n giggles. Onwards we go.

@wlinewbie0425 thank you for all your work totalling that lot up!!!! Wowzers we are bloody amazing!!!!! 🤩

I can honestly say this group has been my lifeline (alongside MJ!!) For a bunch of complete strangers to come together to support, encourage and share our journeys has been one of the highlights of my MJ journey so far - I truly feel amongst friends 🥰

Keep going you beautiful (slimmer!) people!!!

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 31/10/2025 17:49

Woah!!! 1154lbs!!!!!?!!!!! That's amazing!!! We did that!!! Mj might have helped but we are the ones doing the work and making the healthier choices and paying all the damn money for the meds. We are freaking awesome!!!!!! Well done to everyone, I'm so proud of us all!!!!!

@Scousebloke
What an incredible difference!
You must feel so much healthier!

Zebracat · 31/10/2025 21:05

@Scousebloke wow . Well done. I think I like your beautiful chin best. You need new clothes though!

Scousebloke · 31/10/2025 21:33

Thankyou @Merlin23 and @Zebracat . Haha i have loads of new clothes but threw old ones on for the 6 months comparison x

Merlin23 · 31/10/2025 21:37

@Scousebloke
I still have some jeans i used to wear at my heaviest from 10 years ago. I think they are a size 28 I'm now wearing a size 12. I think I need to put them on and do one of those slimmer of the year photos. 😂

slightlysmallerPoisonIvy · 31/10/2025 21:55

Well done @scousebloke, you look great!

I wear the same clothes for my comparison pics each month, it's easier to see the small differences if you're wearing the same. I bought a silly far too tight tshirt at the start that showed every lump and bump and wouldn't even stretch over my butt, it's been fun to see it get looser every month.

Scousebloke · 31/10/2025 22:43

Thankyou @slightlysmallerPoisonIvy

Zebracat · 01/11/2025 08:01

85.8 kilos this morning. I have lost a whole kilo! So thrilled, it’s my best in months.

I’ve messed up with a supplier though. My old one annoyed me by raising the price before the end of September, so I tried Numan but they said my photos were wrong, and to submit new ones but didn’t explain why and I couldn’t see the issue. I was thinking about that for a few days and now they’ve turned me down. But my original suppliers, because I eked out my last prescription are demanding to see my other suppliers prescription and I don’t have one. I’m useless with tech and answering the questions and uploading photos takes me hours . I just don’t know what to do. Can anyone recommend a supplier with a straightforward process?

Thanks for sharing, you look great! I love the confidence in your face in your ‘Now’ photo 🙂

cannyvalley · 01/11/2025 09:32

@wlinewbie0425 thank you so much for compiling our losses, and for all you have done in banding us together in this group.

I can’t believe how much we have collectively lost, it’s staggering!!!

my favourite comparison is the grand piano. I’ve got a cartoon, Wile E Coyote style image of a grand piano falling from a great height.

Thank you so much for each and every member. This is the most supportive and motivating group I’ve ever been part of - beats every insipid slimming world circletime of clapping over a crustless quiche that I’ve ever been part of, hands down.

Im so incredibly proud of us all ❤️

MarmaladeTeepee · 01/11/2025 12:09

When was your last order @Zebracat? I think most suppliers if you've had too long a break will only let you order 2.5mg. Might be worth getting in touch with your old suppliers and explaining the situation?

Although I'd be wary of saying you've eked the jab out as they might refuse you as you've taken the prescription not as intended.

Merlin23 · 01/11/2025 12:43

@Zebracat I've just ordered a 10mg pen from MedExpress. I submitted a photo with tight fitting clothes, my weight ( I may of added a few pounds), submitted my prescription from August (it said it had to be within 6 months to get a higher dose)
Took 5 working days to arrive after being verified.
