MJ seemingly cured my migraines - anyone else?

From May 2023 until February 2025 I suffered awful migraines and strange symptoms that ruined my life. That's not hyperbole, it affected every aspect of it.
Here is one of my threads about it all.

In mid February I started taking Mounjaro. I'd put it off for a couple of weeks because I was worried about the side effects and if it would make my migraines worse. In the end I just went for it. Figured things couldn't get any rougher and maybe losing weight was the answer to all my health problems.

By the end of the first week, before I'd even lost a pound, I'd had 2 headaches and not 1 single migraine. I'm 6 months in now and I don't even get headaches. I haven't had a migraine since the 12th of February.

All the weird body symptoms/nerve pain etc. also went away 99% of the time. I still get a few of them sometimes but they're not as bad as they were.

I saw a brief mention in an article that the Danish Headache Center are conducting a study on Mounjaro and it's effects on headaches/migraines.

Has anyone else seen an improvement in their migraines since starting Mounjaro?

With all the news about the price increases, which will force WLI out of my price range, I am feeling quite stressed and worried about stopping the MJ. I have 1 more pen to use to taper off and then I will have to stop.

Hopefully, I will have lost enough weight that my migraines won't return. That is if the weight actually was the cause of them.

Has anyone else stopped taking MJ and not seen their migraines return?

It definitely helped my migraine. My major trigger was being hungry and I piled on the pounds trying to eat my way out of migraines.

No hunger - my biggest trigger is gone.

Yes.. me too.. I used to get several migraines a month. I've had one in the last 6 months. I don't need migraine meds anymore. I used to run out I took so many.

I don't have migraines normally but had one vestibular migraine after having constipation and diarrhoea at the same time about the second week of taking mounjaro. But I've had nothing like that since.

My lifelong migraines have almost stopped. I am still on preventative meds for them but after years and years I don't want to stop those. However I'd usually have 2 or 3 migraines a month. In 4 months on MJ I haven't even had a headache.
