Nerve endings tingling.

Week 39
Slowly titrated up to 4.3 mg
Injected 4.3mg on Thursday evening. For the first time I am experiencing tingling in my nerve endings in my face, scalp, shoulders and back.

It feels like I have head lice and bugs crawling over me. It’s not uncomfortable, just annoying.

Anyone else experienced this?

Anyone?
Maybe it’s not mounjaro related 🤔

It’s called formication. Look it up as there are many possible causes and you might be able to pin point it.

Just googled Formication…

Holy moly! Wish I hadn’t.

The feeling has subsided, I’m really hoping it doesn’t return.

I didn't have this but I did have tingling in my feet and hands when I first started on Mounjaro, to the point I thought I would have to stop taking it. I went down a real rabbit hole and I could never explain how I got here but I tried two things - antihistamines and calcium supplements. Apparently, but I don't know about the veracity of this, minor reactions to mounjaro can release histamine and that can make your nerves tingle so it might basically be a wee allergic reaction.
