How are people ordering from multiple pharmacies?

How? Are you not disclosing you are already with another provider?

I have never been asked. I just ordered as normal.

No one asks that. You just have to confirm the dose you’re taking and send a photo of the pharmacy label on the box of one of your pens.

You don’t even have to do that when you are ordering 2.5mg, I have never been asked to evidence my previous prescriptions and been ordering for 9 months.

Med Express do and need proof

Med Express do and need proof. I have well controlled type 2 diabetes and currently on 5 mg. Wanted to order a second pen just in case.

There are some unscrupulous suppliers, who just want plausible deniability and your money. ME also notify your GP I know because I can set it in my NHS app. I think others do too and I'm pretty sure my gp would raise questions if I was sourcing it from multiple suppliers quicker than it can be used

I ordered yesterday I have a full pen in the fridge to be started Sunday , got an email today to say it's approved but 7-10 days for shipping so worth getting an order in

Were you already ordering from MedExpress?

They only let you order every 2 weeks. I have used them on and off and never been asked for proof to buy 2.5mg

Yes, I have used med express, Asda, oushk and farmeci. You don’t need to prove your last dose if you are ordering 2.5mg becsue it is the starting point/. You only need to show if you are on higher doses as they need to ensure you are not jumping in and trying to skip the lower doses.

I’m not! I’ve got 3 doses in my pen left, will order at some point in the next week or so. Usually have ordered once I’ve taken my last jab but everyone’s got absolutely mental in the last 24 hours ordering everything they can get their hands on and there’s none left at the moment anyway in the dose I’m on and I’m not arsing about switching providers.
Fingers crossed some availability comes up otherwise it’s going to be cold turkey for me until it does!

I’m pretty sure the GPs will work out it’s not cos we are double/triple dosing all the orders at the same time or launching a career in drug dealing given the news. If anyone even flags it they will realise you are stockpiling and using over time. It’s not quicker than it can be used, as the use by dates are typically at least 12 months out. It’s not ideal but everyone has been backed into a corner with this. As a customer you aren’t breaking any laws and you don’t have to lie. They don’t actually ask this, they only ask about your last order to make their prescribing decision. Plausible deniability for them is bang on @ThinkingaboutMJbut it’s to our advantage this time.

OP the pharmacies can’t access each others’ data, so the answer to your question is that (subject to availability) right now you can order from multiple suppliers separately just using the evidence of the label from your last order each time.

Yes, I was about to change but won't now, because they are one of the biggest suppliers so will have the most bargaining power for discount off list price

Ordered one pen (12.5mg) fro my normal supplier (on Wednesday) and ordered a 15 mg from another supplier last night

12.5 arrived today . 15 mg told me consultant will let me know in approx 5 days due to increase in orders

i ordered 15 mg with massive discount and fingers crossed it works

im on 8th dose of 10 mg and was planing to continue 4-6 months before filtering down but now planing 4 weeks 12.5 and 4 weeks 15 to get maximum benefit and then instead of filtering down go cold turkey with PT
