So in light of price hikes and having tried three places this morning and all MJ being sold out, I am in a bit of a panic. I have 3 doses left in my pen.

I started MJ in January for weight loss and it was quick to start but has now tapered out to smaller losses each month which is fine. I am currently on 7.5mg.

My main concern is not being able to afford the higher prices (I struggle as it is with the current price and have to budget) and so having to come off it and losing all the other benefits I am feeling.

Since starting it my mental health is amazing - I feel like my normal, chirpy self.
My peri symptoms have disappeared and my whole body just feels 10 years younger - my back ache vanished from week one and I just feel better physically. More nimble I suppose.
As I am still feeling this way 7/8 months in I refuse to believe it’s some sort of placebo thing going on.

I really don’t want to lose these benefits. 😞

I am happy to consider moving to Wegovy but was wondering if it has similar affects to what I am experiencing? Can anyone share?

I don't have any experience of it but I'm interested in anyone who has. I'm seriously considering making the move although I may suck up the new prices and look to move for maintenance. I really wish I didn't have to but I can't see playing those prices long term.

I believe some of the benefits you have listed are hormone related, due to the oestrogen stored in fat released during weight loss. You may find with being slimmer, your body produces/utilises oestrogen better/more and you will maintain the benefits. Soya is also a source of oestrogen, could be worth trying it or herbal sources.
If you lose weight in other ways, you may also see the same benefits.

I started on Wegovy, moved to Mounjaro and then back to Wegovy. Part of the reason for my first move was that I thought maybe the Wegovy was making me anxious. I felt very quickly much better on Mounjaro as far as the anxiety was concerned. However, I don’t think the anxiety has come back now that I’m back on Wegovy. Maybe it was a coincidence today with my Peri symptoms and when they got worse and better.

I would say the weight loss side of things is pretty similar between the two drugs for me. I changed back due to gastric side effects (which started a few months in) which I now have problems with Wegovy too so similar there as well.

I lost my weight on Wegovy and it was fantastic. I stayed on a low dose, there was no need to increase to the higher ones as it was effective. It's a perfectly good option and people have no need to fear switching.
