Hello everyone. Just wanting to share and ask really. I'd love to hear your experiences and views. I started on the Mounjaro last Wed. I went on the scales on Saturday and they said I'd lost 6 pounds. Surely not? That quickly? I'll step on the scales again tomorrow. I'm just a bit gobsmacked that I've lost a little (tip of the iceberg) bit without doing anything. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with that. Just wanting to hear your experiences. Thanks 😊

Have you been eating a lot less than before you started?

Also, if you’re a higher starting weight then the initial losses can be higher. I was 22st when I started and I lost 9lbs in the first week.

I lost 9lbs in my first week (starting weight 14 stone 12 lbs, current weight 11 stone, goal weight 9 stone 7 lbs). I had immediate reduction in appetite on 2.5 which lasted a long time (3 months before I went up to 5 mg). You will be told that the initial big losses are water weight, and that may be the case, but I never put that 9lbs back on, so I was quite happy with the big boost it gave me at the start, so I think you are right to be happy.

I'm looking at my stats now, and I went from 12. 7 to 11 13 in the first week and, I never regained, it did slow down though, to about 1 to 2 pounds per week, 9 3 now, that whoosh at first is quite common I think.

Not unusual, it is worth tracking calories and macros carefully in the first few weeks to make sure you are not undernourished. It can be very easily in those early weeks to eat <1000 calories a day, not even notice and that will bring other issues you don't want - fatigue, dizziness, hair loss, constipation etc.

Thank you everyone. I think it was because it was my first week and no inclination for food as such. Although did have a few extras on Sunday and that has definitely put a pound or two back on! 🙄

What does everyone think of the Lloyds price hike, and Junipers cheaper price? There's a huge difference in both parties price. I've got one more Mounjaro from Lloyds to do then I think I'll go with Juniper - if the offer is still on then. Bit strange how one company is upping their costs and another is offering cut price. What's everyone else's thoughts on this?
