DPD didn’t deliver Oushk Mounjaro pen now it’s going to sit at their Depo the whole weekend…

Hi all

My delivery was meant to come yesterday between 17:00-18:00. I live in a block of flats and made sure the buzzer was on maximum volume.
Was tracking the delivery then all of a sudden get a notification saying sorry we missed you!! The buzzer didn’t ring! Looking at the photo on the app they’ve taken a picture of my block of flats - but the side opposite to where you’ll find the buzzer. This guy has delivered here loads of times before so knows where it is.

Rung DPD who passed me around and someone said they’d call the depot as it’s medical supplies and get them to tell the driver to come back.
Heard nothing by 18:30 so called to be told it could be up to an hour. So called back at 19:00 and what do you know - they’re closed!!

DPD customer service is shut over the weekend as is Oushk. So now it’s saying delivery Monday by which point it would have not been refrigerated for a possible 4 days if it don’t come till 6pm again!

So I assume it will be no good by then and I’ll be down £155!! I also go on holiday on Tuesday so no time to send another one out.

Has this happened to anyone else? What was the outcome?

It will be perfectly fine. It doesn't need to be in the fridge for 4 weeks. Don't panic

I had this with a set of two pens, though it was from maybe Zava or MedExpress. One was ok to use as I was going to use it within 30 days of receiving it, and they replaced the other, though I’d to send it back before they did. They were also
willing to replace the first if I wasn’t going to be using it in the 30 days, I felt this unnecessary though

If you are going to start it straight away it will be ok as it can be unrefrigerated for up to 30 days so you will be able to get 4 doses in that time and I’m a bit naughty and stretch it out to use my 5th dose too (personal choice and outwith guidelines I know). However, this situation shouldn’t occur - I’ve seen it stated lots of time that the cold chain should be maintained and I think the pharmacy should offer to replace and it would be their job to take things up with DPD. I personally hate DPD and pay the extra with Oushk for Royal Mail delivery but that’s not going to help you with resolving this issue.

It will be fine but next time you could click on the delivery box and it drops down with different options including Royal Mail; I’ve changed recently and find my normal postie delivers around mid morning.

As others have said, thus happened to me too. I contacted the supplier and they said it was absolutely fine. They said just use as normal.

The cool bag inside the package has been tested to keep the pen cold for upto 72hrs. They may redeliver today, mine did the next day with DPD when I had nipped into the kitchen for 2 mins to make a coffee and didn't hear a knock!

I had this with Dpd from Oushk when I missed a delivery on a Saturday and it said wouldn’t be until Monday, but it actually was delivered the next day on the Sunday and it was absolutely fine so don’t give up hope.

@@Incognitoburrito88 the fifth dose is within the 30 days so don’t worry about it!
