I just bought a pair of size 10 jeans! Never in my wildest dreams did I really believe I would be buying size 10 when I started a year ago. (I was a far too tight very stretchy 18 at best). 5 stone gone! Hope this gives you a little boost if you’re just starting, it really does work!

Congratulations! That must feel amazing.

Do you mind me asking if you’re still on a maintenance dose? I am 10lbs away from target and so scared of coming off Mounjaro altogether Confused

I’m still on 5mg. I was on 2.5 for the first 4 weeks then moved gently to 5 (I had to move in increments as I had side effects!). I’ve never gone any further up.
I’ve still got a stone to lose but I’m happy losing it slowly. I don’t really know what my maintenance plan is though tbh!

Wow that is incredible. I was similar, baggy size 20/tight 18s. I’m 2st down and looking forward to another 3-4 and expecting it to take a good while.

I feel inspired hearing your losses. Well done.

I am currently a stretchy size 18 too, and planning to start MJ tomorrow. Hoping to lose between 3 & 4 stone (CW is 13st 12lbs).

May I ask whether loose skin has been a problem for you? I’m post menopausal at age 49, so not too elastic these days. Apparently a friend of a friend went abroad for a skin tightening treatment… I wouldn’t want to do that.

Congratulations on such weight loss, it must be such an amazing feeling!

Amazing, well done! Very motivational for me. I’m on week 6 I think, or maybe jab 7 tonight? Have only lost 7lb so far so you’ve lost far quicker than my rate. Any tips??

Ive been on 2.5 but my third pen will be 5. When you say you moved up in increments, did you do 3.75 from a 5 pen for example?

What else did you implement, other than MJ and habit change? Eg I’m doing Slimpod as may as well, but did you exercise, do anything else?

Thanks! Well done!

Yes I did 3.75 for about 10 weeks or more. Even during that time I really felt the side effects, it wasn’t very pleasant but I stuck with it. Eventually got up to 5 and felt great.
Ive been mostly doing smaller portions (and implementing that even when feeling hungrier- I tell myself that I can have more but to see how I feel first!). That works well. I have also cut down a LOT on snacks and unhealthy rubbish. I have one thing I adore (revels!) so I treat myself to those over the weekend.
obviously Mounjaro is making this much easier but by staying on a low dose I feel like I’m definitely using more willpower than if I was really suppressed.
well done so far- I think slower losses are the key!

Oh not really suffered with loose skin but I’ve lost weight fairly slowly and steadily. top of my arms could do with some toning up.

Thanks, I really appreciate you sharing. I was thinking today about how I don’t want to rush up and build up my tolerance. I want to keep the struggle a little bit so I have to work and change and not just rely on the drug. Think I would ideally be on it (a micro dose?) forever though as I feel so different and normal now. I’m going to try the 3.75 - I’ve definitely felt fewer effects this week!
