Larger dose from a 2.5mg pen?

Is it possible to get a larger dose from a 2.5mg pen without using the separate syringes? I fear I have stayed too long on 2.5mg and not feeling the suppression.

And if not, and I must use the extra syringes, how much should I extract? I’d like to go up slowly.

I have used one dose of a 2.5mg pen so far.

Maths is most certainly not my strong point…

Hi, you could try taking after 5 or 6 days to see if that helps. I believe this is what most providers recommend to do until you can have the larger dose.

How far are you from ordering your next pen? You can do it but it’s an expensive way to! Better to buy a 5mg pen and do 45 clicks to get to 3.75mg

I’m currently using a 2.5mg pen and in my 3rd month of Mounjaro. The suppression has definitely eased off so I decided to make the 3rd jab of the pen a 3.75ml dose and the same for the 4th jab. That would finish that pen and then I’ll start on a 5mg pen. I did the 3.75 ml jab yesterday (90 clicks) and it’s been fine so far.
