Oushk weight verification

Anyone with oushk know if you need to do the weight verification video every time you order? I can't get a video call before I go on holiday and only have 48hrs when I get back to do it and have the pen delivered before I run out. I've only ordered with them once before so not sure about normal processes. Thanks.

I don’t use them any more but I think I read it’s every 6 months.

No I don’t think so. I’ve been ordering for one year and only had one weight verification call (last week)

they also allow you to order before your weight verification call, asking as it’s booked in so you should be ok ordering your next one

The latest email explains it all - every six months and complete your profile before you can order.

Definitely not. Just ordered after weight verification. It’s every 6 months.

I'm new to oushk and had to do a weight verification for my first prescription at the beginning of July and did a second weight verification yesterday for my next prescription. So seems like this is the new set up. They are also pushing hard for evidence of height (i sent in my results from a DEXA bone density scan).

Cheesybiscuits01 · 30/07/2025 22:24

Yes I saw the verification of height too. I guess all online pharmacies are going to get stricter. I don't mind I just hadn't expected to have to do it each month and hadn't left enough time to sort before I go away. Will hopefully sort the height thing next time.

As a current client It’s every 6 months, you can upload photos for your height to your health profile at any point. I used a screenshot from my NHS app which shows my height.
You have to complete all the sections in the health profile (making it go green, if it stays red it’s not complete) before you can move on to the consultation section to order.
If it says you need a new verification you just need to have one booked, you can still order.

OK that's good to know. I'm in scotland so dont have the nhs app but hoping I can do the height verification on the video call or something.

I’m have been with Oushk since my second pen (pro tip don’t use Numan, they’re crap and expensive beyond the new customer discount!) and had planned to stay with them for maintenance. However they had a spell where things were looking like the wheels were coming off with constant reactive measures to a GPhC audit and it even looked at one point like they couldn’t support beyond a BMI of 23 so I quickly looked into other Pharmacies. Someone recommended Lotus Weightloss Pharmacy on here so I looked into it and they’re absolutely brilliant - quick, really good value, order 2 at once and loyalty discount. Next day delivery too. They’re also really easy to get hold of, feels very personal service oriented and don’t come with the drama of Oushk. At present verification is not necessary so would be good choice to get you stocked up while you wait for Oushk appointment if you decide you still want to go with them after using Lotus I might add. Good luck!
