Want to start MJ but about to start antidepressants

Would it be unwise to commence WLI at the same time as going back on antidepressants after 2 years off?

I think it’s best to start medications separately so that you can clearly tell which effects and side effects are being caused by what. It makes managing the right dose and type of antidepressants easier if the impact is not being skewed by Mounjaro effects as well.

Though it probably depends why you are starting Mounjaro. If it’s because you are a few stone overweight I would wait a couple of months until you have stabilised the antidepressants. Start making small changes to diet and exercise instead, and you can ramp those up once you start taking it. If it’s to treat more serious conditions you probably need to have an honest conversation with your doctor.
