Antibiotics and MJ?

I know it’s fine to have an antibiotic and be on MJ but has anyone any experience? I’m slightly concerned about gastric reaction as the last time I had an upset it took weeks for my stomach to recover! I have been very fortunate and had no side effects in months since taking MJ

I had a couple of courses last year for chest infections and had a slightly upset stomach with the first lot. Second time around I was very careful to take a decent probiotic and all seemed ok.

I also had some serious ones pre/post dental implant surgery and everything was fine with the probiotics.

Hello @22O725 , Just posting the same reassuring message as PP.

I had to have a strong course of antibiotics about 6 weeks ago, while on 10mg MJ. No problem whatsoever.
I told the pharmacist that I was on MJ because of slower digestion, incase he had any advice..
He said to take them an hour before meals, and/or 2 hours afterwards to avoid digestive issues. I followed it religiously, setting alarms to remind myself. As I was taking them 4 times a day it got a little complicated but no digestive issues to report.
I also take a really good quality probiotic (symprove) and this may have helped.
