Oushk Maintenance/weight check

So I’ve got my maintenance call next week and they’re also doing the weight verification check at the same time.

Has anyone had this yet? Im ok with a video call, getting on the scales, showing my passport. But how the hell am I supposed to measure my height with a tape measure whist balancing my phone?

They can do it if you stand in front of a standard sized door too.

@Claudette7934 I’ve seen lots of people have stuck a tape measure (temporarily) onto a door so they can stand beside it for a photo or for the video call.

Stick it to the door frame and stand next to it on the call.

I had mine yesterday. I sellotaped a tape measure to the door before the appt, stood against it and was guided where to hold the phone so they could read it. Very simple and height only needs to be done once.

As other have said tape measure sellotaped to the door is your best bet. Or buy a height chart off Amazon and stick to door (bit of a waste of money for one off)

Other options if not done on video call are something from Dr, NHS app, a local pharmacy verifies the card Oushk sends out/you can print with their stamp.

I managed to get my Drs admin office to send me my last annual check which has my height in it (I'm in Scotland so don't have the NHS app).

It has to be verified as you, so things like machines in Boots etc don't count as it could be anyone stepping on the scale.

Although I don't think they have thought through the pharmacy stamp either as there is nothing on it to say they checked the persons photo ID so could be anyone!
