Switching pharmacies below BMI 30

I started MJ in march with a BMI of just a smidge under 40 (39.8) so almost morbidly obese. It's now down to 34 yay! I'm currently switching pharmacies every month although have ordered from one twice as had an offer, basically I've used 3 pharmacies for 4 pens.

Now my BMI is edging closer to 30 can I keep switching each month or once I get near 30 do I need to stick with the same one to have a paper trail etc with all the new rules coming in around videos etc. So far I've not had to do a video and don't really want to have to schedule a video consultation each month with a new pharmacy.

For maintenance when that tine comes I was thinking of either oushk or pharmolous so do I need to switch to them before I get to 30 so they can carry on supporting me under 30 and hopefully into a healthy BMI and maintenance.

I switched to Oushk at BMI 26. I have had to do a 5 min video call where I stood on the scales and have to have another call before I start maintenance but it’s been fairly easy. There’s lots of social media noise around Oushk at the moment but the service I’ve personally received has been good. Can’t advise on other places as I’ve only done Asda before who I started with at BMI 30. Congratulations on your loss so far.

Thanks @Incognitoburrito88 did you switch before oushk got more strict? I heard something about they won't be able to take on below 25.5?

I switched a couple of months ago. I haven’t heard they aren’t taking new people under bmi 25 but as I said there seems to be a lot of social media noise and misinformation about them at the moment!!

I think we’ve chatted a bit about this before @Fatmumslim01 but I’m with Pharmulous and have been for about 7 months now. I moved over at bmi 29 with no problem at all and am now in maintenance with them.

My understanding is that, at the moment, most of the main maintenance pharmacies will take you on until around bmi 23ish but that could obviously change in the future.Personally, I think I wouldn’t leave it much later than bmi 25 just so you have some time to get used to how things work with the new one. Having said that though, I’ve just read some posts on Reddit about someone on long term maintenance who has moved from Cloud to WePrescribe without issues and somebody else who moved to Swift Dr at a low bmi.

Maybe email the pharmacies you are interested in and ask what their policies are?
