Does the pen have a silver seal?

ive just opened a new pen and i could be misremembering this but do they usually have a silver seal over the bit where you attach the needle. I've enclosed a photo.

Yes, that looks normal. Silver with a red rubber section.

Just the needles that have the peel off foil, I think.

That looks exactly like mine.
