@SewerOrLess massive change in your stomach area!!!!
go to ‘history’ to access first scan and compare. No need to pay for premium

@FoxRedPuppy Solidarity. I had pretty awful nausea when I moved upto 5mg, ended up reducing my dose to 3.75mg. I think if it's making you feel so ill, definite reduction is the way forward. Will your provider give advice?

Catladyof7 · 16/07/2025 14:33

flameprincess · 15/07/2025 23:34

Definitely feeling out of the honeymoon phase, mostly due to regret at doing a second month on 2.5mg. The suppression stopped for me on week 1 of my second pen and while I've managed to stick to my calories its been mentally draining dreaming of cheeseburgers constantly... and gaining and losing the same 1lb over the past 2 weeks. Im going on holiday next week though and really didnt want to increase my dose beforehand.

I was also full of excitement at the start, watching all these amazing tiktoks of ppl losing 2 stone in their first 2 months etc and now those same videos are pissing me off because thats clearly not going to be my journey😂 (yeah i know, 1-2lbs a week is the sustainable way but ugh its still utterly depressing when I have such a high starting weight)

Same here. I am baffled how people are losing so much weight.
I am struggling to lose 1-2lb a week if that and i am only eating 1000 calories a day and yes all counted out properly .

Wishiwasgardening · 16/07/2025 14:37

End of week three for me and I've lost 2lb this week. 12lb in total, I'm glad it seems to be slowing down to a healthier rate now.

I've started splitting my dose and injecting every 3 days because I was struggling with the waxing & waning suppression and nausea cycle. I'm using a half life graph to plot the dose and keeping it as steady as I can. My aim is to stay on as low a dose as possible that gives me reasonable suppression. Perhaps this approach could help some of you suffering from side effects?

BadgerFace · 16/07/2025 15:30

Sorry to hear about all the nausea for so many of you, I hope it passes soon.

I am on holiday this week and relaxed a bit so have eaten crisps which I used to eat daily but have had minimal packets for the past 7 weeks. Trying to balance not undoing all my healthy eating but also enjoying things I enjoy. I’ve kept the carbs low on meals so hoping that will help keep me even. I take my 8th jab tomorrow. Suppression is still pretty good for the end of a week on 2.5mg and I’ve avoided all post-dinner snacking which we’d usually have on holiday with chocolate and cheese - DH is on his own this week! Feeling a bit nervous about how to jab tomorrow without the children noticing as there is no lock or door on my en suite bathroom so I’ll have to use the family bathroom.

Get the clicks ready then just go in to bathroom to inject. Mine are teens now and horrified even at the thought of accidentally walking in on me naked.

I only did 3.75 this time, up from 2.5mg. I just want this wave of nausea to go. I vommed up the meal replacement shake. Urgh. I’ve endured worse than this in my life, but feel really sorry for myself!

@Wishiwasgardening I also split my doses. I’m only on W2 but have done half doses twice a week from the beginning. It’s working ok so far 🤷‍♀️

Still feel nauseous and can’t make myself eat anything. It’s exactly like pregnancy sickness! Went to pharmacy to buy anti sickness tablets and they won’t sell them to me. Say I have to go to GP.

Then I say in my car and cried. I don’t know why I’m finding this nausea so much harder than the beginning. I bought a meal replacement shake to try and get some calories into me.

I’m having meal replacement shakes every day. For me, they’re a good way to get calories in alongside vitamins.

I’m the opposite. I’ve not counted any calories for 8 weeks now, but have been losing well (1stone 9 lbs since may 20th) I got the nutracheck app today and put in a typical day’s calories. The app calculated that I need up to 1600 calories a day for my age, height and weight (I’d put my aim was to lose weight). The things I eat in a typical day took me just over that amount. But I’ve consistently lost each week. Started off with 9lbs in the first two weeks and then an average of 2lbs a week after that. I’ve just been using Voy’s balanced plate system and they analyse my meals. I have loved it, much better than counting, but I won’t be able to afford to stay with them much longer. (I must sound like a Voy shareholder!)

I am with Voy , but managed to get a discount again. Then i have done 3 months with them when i get my next pen.
Was going to see if they were cheaper to do a longer time or will have to switch suppliers.

Gingercar · 16/07/2025 17:12

I’ve done 3 months with them. How did you get another discount? (I got a second discount month 2 because the app didn’t work at first). My husband paid for month 3 for my birthday. I’m hoping they offer another discount when I say im leaving. But even with a discount there are more ch cheaper deals around so I really should jump ship.

It is also about what those calories consist of too, I think. When I’m not feeling like vomitting, I’m doing 1200 to 1400 a day. I don’t always make that. With 100g of protein as a target. Most of the calories need to come from protein and fibre, then carbs, but less. I’m also making sure that very little of what I eat is processed or UPF. So I cook everything from scratch.

If Voy have a service that look at what you are eating I’d definitely do that.

I have purchased my mounjaro through online pharmacy and never had an issue with my GP in regards to it , then today I had to go to my doctors online for something else and had a look at the info sent via my online pharmacy. These documents have been stamped and passed by my GP yet they are highly inaccurate 🤔. When I filled the form in initially it was to purchase for my sister who was a “no” to each question. I however have had bariatic surgery and have pcos both of which are not marked down as still under my sisters details but are clearly missed and my GP hasn’t questioned it. I asked the doctors receptionist about it and she said generally we were told just pass them alol unless it’s thyroid or gallbladder as there are so many requests coming in. Food for thought …….

ShesRunningOutTheDoor · 16/07/2025 18:03

For those who are missing the enjoyment of wine / lager… not that I fancy it on MJ but my mouth missed the interesting taste….I’ve bought posh sparkling water and although have never liked it before - the new me is enjoying it.

I just told them it was too expensive, but this is for my next pen which is my 3rd one in another 2 weeks time . I havent started the 5mg till this weekend
I will have to look elsewhere then

FoxRedPuppy · 16/07/2025 16:47

Did you mean you vomited it back up? If so, that’s not great. Hope you’re ok!
I must say, although I’m managing to eat more, I feel rubbish in general. I have no energy or motivation and the brain fog is awful. Plus I just feel, meh about everything. It’s almost like being drunk, without the fun!

I hope things improve for you soon.

Catladyof7 · 16/07/2025 20:06

Here is a question.
Why is it you are told to drink 2-3 + pts of water a day ?
If you are hydrated enough , why keep on drinking when all it does to me , is come out the other end 15 minutes later .
I spend more time weeing than anything else .

I eat decently enough . Lots of salad, meat ( chicken ,beef , ham …all calories counted )
I have milk in my tea , ihave a protein bar most day or a protein dessert .
I have some cheese as well and eggs.
Everything is counted to make up to 1000 calories or less every single day

FirstDayonthePlanet · 16/07/2025 20:24

Hi everyone, on week 6 now, and wanting to change from my provider (Oushk) I’m away for 2 weeks as of the weekend so want to get it sorted for asap when I come back.

oushk didn’t give me the option to move up to 5mg (which I needed) so I’m wasting money double dosing from a 2.5ml as 2.5 wasnt cutting it.
plus I’ve been hearing questionable things about Oushk as a pharmacy.

can anyone recommend a pharmacy that is good with titrating if necessary and will do maintenance pleasse?

Gettingfitorbust · 16/07/2025 21:27

Catladyof7 I think I started the same weekend as you, and was also thinking I was slow to lose. I have lost 7lbs altogether, which I didn’t think was very much until I realised it is actually half a stone. I’m feeling better about it now.

Crinklecat · 16/07/2025 21:30

@FirstDayonthePlanet I’ve been happy with medexpress, I ordered the 5mg with no issues. I have £40 code off if you’d like? Second pen did take about a week to get here though but first one was a couple of days

Haven't lost any weight at all this week but did a me360 and can almost see a change in the last month.

Annoyingly I can't access the first scan without paying for premium.

I think this app is a load of rubbish. Ive lost over a stone and it's measuring me more in all areas!

An over the counter antihistamine like piriton has anti nausea effects
