@Xmasfairy86 thank you. I've gone with IQ doctor. 5mg was £103 with next day delivery. £50 less than MedExpress. Horrified by the photos my other half took of me holding my order number - looks like Mrs Trunchbulls mugshots 😂 but we move.

It was nice to type 109kg rather than the 119.9kg that I started at ☺️

@RatherTardy Oh no, how frustrating!! I ate more on holiday than usual even with my jab but it felt like a choice rather than being starving so I think you will still be okay. We are all much more mindful of what we eat this many weeks in I think.

Last night I even managed to say no to a beer my husband offered me as I thought let’s not waste the calories!

@RatherTardy how long are you away for? MJ stays in you system for quite a while due to the build up, so you might find that you're ok, depending on the mg you're on. Also, is there someone still at home that can put it back in the fridge for you? Hope it's not wasted ☺️. Have a fab holiday!!

It doesn’t need to be in the fridge if it’s been used. I only keep my new ones in the fridge, otherwise it is in a desk drawer.

@RatherTardy have a great holiday. Lots of people still get suppression for a while after skipping a dose because of the long half life.

W7D1 and I’ve gained 4lbs! Beyond gutted. I’m still 11lbs down overall so trying to hold onto that.

Maybe staying at 2.5mg was a mistake.

If I get horrible side effects this week it is all my fault and no one should have any sympathy for me 😂. Sunday night is my jab time. I went to the pub to watch the Euros 2025 final, and had a few pints.

Came home and before I went to bed, did my jab. Was ongoing to try 3.75 again or definitely more than 2.5, as it has definitely waned this last week. Started to click and count, lost count and thought ‘fuck it’ and just turned it to 1 and injected. So did 5mg, because I was a bit pissed and lost count 😂

Feel ok this morning, a little bit of nausea. Idiot!

Hello everyone I am on week 8 (6 weeks @2.5mg and just took my second 5mg) I have lost 17.5lbs and I am delighted. I started at 15.2 and today was 13.3 so moving into 13 stone feels huge! First week on 5mg was fine I felt a bit off for 1 day and I think my constipation is a bit worse but otherwise no issues. Keep going everyone it’s great to hear everyone’s progress!

@FoxRedPuppy hopefully the nausea is from a fuzzy head rather than the jab, and side effects are minimal. I love that you just went for it half canned. Remember how apprehensive most of us were on the first jab 😆

I have always used the sterile wipe first on the red seal then on my skin where I'm going to inject, but your post prompted me to read the instruction leaflet again. To my surprise, the instructions tell you just to do the seal. There is nothing at all about wiping your skin. So I'd say don't do it - thus avoiding any rash.

So you've got week 8 next week which may be the final week on your second pen? You do have an option with your last 2.5mg dose.
Inject dose 4 from the pen, then extract and inject the "extra" dose, which is another 2.5mg. This gives you your first 5mg dose, if you feel you should have moved up quicker. This is what I did at the end of my first month, rather than extend the pen to 5 doses of 2.5mg.

D2 of my 5mg jab - didn't overeat yesterday but my choices weren't fab - stomach agrees and is trying to rid my body of it all 😂I am not hungry at all, about to leave for the gym but need to eat something on the way or I will pass out! hopefully there is a banana going spare in the kitchen

Thanks to this thread I went to 5mg rather than take a 2nd 3.75mg. I'm so glad I did. No SE except the mild constipation, which I've had pretty much all through.

W6D2. Shitshow of a weekend - 3 day festival AND out for a curry. I made the best choices I could with festival food, and so that didn’t ruin things tooooo much, but I drank far too many calories. Still. I had a nice time. Onwards…

NSV - my parents noticed I’ve lost weight, my arse is definitely much smaller than it was. Clothes are fitting much better, but aren’t too big yet. I have been shoehorning myself into things though…

Still on 2.5mg, suppression is mostly ok, only side effect is dry mouth.

I'm here, I'm not the biggest person here, and I've got my pen 🥳 (Turns out it's fine to take it in your suitcase!!!!)

W6D3 for me. Took 1st 5mg dose Saturday and regretting it at moment.
Was DS's 21st the weekend, went out Friday for meal. Had 1 long cocktail and we had tapas so didn't eat too much without it being noticeable. Did jab Saturday morning all good. Made huge mistake of having Chinese takeaway on Sat night. I only dished myself 1 spoon (soup spoon) of each dish and then was full anyway.
Had to cancel family coming over Sunday as couldn't get off loo and had to call in sick today as still can't stop going loo every half hour and was so nauseous in night I had to sleep sitting up.
I should have known better as well as I was really bad week 1 & 2 at 2.5mg so was guessing 5 may hit me hard

@Catladyof7 I’m also with Voy. Can I please ask how you managed to negotiate a lower price, as my 2nd pen is being despatched in a couple of weeks?!!

Basically i just ask and said it was cheaper elsewhere.

Update on drunken injecting… I’m fine! Still have nausea, but it’s manageable. More like the first week on 2.5.

i forgot to say I also injecting into my arm for the first time (also great to try and new injecting spot when half cut 😂). I’d seen so much about how injecting site can impact side effects. I don’t really see how, but thought I’d give it a go.

I did it on chat and then a advisor came on and it was discussed then .

God im such a plank. I didnt realise you had to refrigerate unopened pens. So mine has been out of a fridge for 7 days. However, goggling seems to suggest it can be out of the fridge for 21 days and be fine.
For the first day since starting MJ on 30th May, I felt hungry today!
