Help with timings please- in a muddle

I’m new to this and hoping some of you experience users can help me.

currently taking 2.5 mg and two weeks in, I’ve just ordered a 5 mg pen but I’m hoping to stay on 2.5 for two weeks of that pen as I’m going to stay with family on holiday abroad and am a bit worried about side effects/suppression of going up a dose and family noticing (not worth the hassle of telling them)

However, my biggest issue is, my injection would be due, two days after arriving, it would be my new pen which means I need to keep it cold, although I could potentially keep it cold in transit on the plane, I don’t want to use a fridge at my in-laws house as they will be disapproving. So my question is, if I move my injection day forward one day this week, one day next week, I could then potentially take it the morning that I travel and then can keep it un-refrigerated as long as the room temperature is below 30° when I’m there right?

Also, if I’m only going to use 2.5 mg of a 5 mg pen, I count the clicks, for the first two weeks and then when I’m back home, I can use 5 mg for the last two weeks?

Yeah that’s what you can do. I done this earlier this year. I was due on Tuesday so moved it back a day each week before so I could take it the Saturday before I went. I was only away a week so didn’t bother taking it with me but once it’s opened it can be kept out of the fridge as long as it’s below 30

Is this your first pen? And how is your suppression/weight loss going?

If your first injection from the new pen is due 2 days after you arrive then you can take it unused and unrefrigerated as you will still do 4 doses within the 30 days

First pen currently I’m only on week 2 of 2.5. Suppression is good. I only lost 1lb in the first week though despite being in a 750 calorie deficit a day though I have PCOS and I’m due my period.
That’s useful to know I don’t need to keep it refrigerated if I use within 30 days. I can keep it under 30 degrees fine.
