Warning - med express scam email

Just had a very convincing email from med express saying my next injection is on the way and will be with me my July 10th. Had a panic as I haven’t ordered one and don’t want to till pay day! Checked my bank account and no money had gone out. Clicked on a link in the email for customer support and it opened a very convincing website.

Got suspicious and closed it down. Was on my phone. Then logged into the website via my iPad and not using the link in the email. Nothing in my order history about a pending order.

hope i haven’t activated a virus by clicking a link!

Had another email today saying it’s on its way. I definitely haven’t ordered anything. Logged into my account and it doesn’t say I’ve ordered anything. No money has gone out my account.

so either they’ve messed up and are sending me a free pen (doubtful) or someone has hacked their system and knows their customers email addresses and previous order history as it even has the correct dose.

i am seriously not happy.

I’m also in Spain on holiday so any pen which does arrive will be sat on my doorstep in a heatwave for another week!

Or it’s a scam email sent to anyone’s email on a list they have and it’s just coincidence that you have used med express.

I just report/delete/block scam emails.

Maybe. But the email has my full name and postal address within the email so it’s very personalised which I’m finding odd. Normally they’re more generic. I e emailed medexpress. I will be furious if any money goes out my account.
