Medicine Market Place for Maintenance?

Questions1234 · 04/07/2025 05:20

Does anyone use MMP for maintenance?

I’m with them currently, and despite asking a number of times, they haven’t told me what their position on maintenance is (which is annoying in itself). I still have a BMI of over 30, and a couple of pens in the fridge, so planning on keeping ordering from them while they allow, then will swap if needed (I have photos of all my previous prescription labels).

But am interested if anyone does use them for Maintenance, and if not, when they stopped prescribing for you as they don’t appear on any of the lists of pharmacies that offer maintenance (that I can see).

Thanks!

MM do support maintenance to a BMI of 19.5. They do regular live Q&A sessions on TikTok, and talk about maintenance on there. It might be worth having a listen to one of their sessions, they are really helpful, and every question gets answered. I've just had a quick look, and the next one is 9pm on Sunday

Thank you @Billybingbong thats really helpful. I’ve been with MM for three months now and my BMI is now 26.7 and I thinking about maintenance so will join the live session on Sunday.

I watch their Tiktok lives as well. They are really informative but how they think they are not 'advertising' the weight loss injections I don't know.
They call it a Q & A session with a pharmacist. hehe.
One thing I did pick up is that if you decide to titrate down & come off the meds, they won't let you go back on if your BMI is under 30 (27 with health condition)
Whereas some providers allow you to do so.
For example Oushk allow you to up to a year if you are subscribed to their £15 a month plan.
I plan to stay with MM for maintenance but if I do want to come off I will be moving to Oushk first and sub to the £15 per month plan as I like that safety net.

@Redlightbulb Pharmulous will allow you to restart for up to a year for free. No paying monthly to ‘stay on their books’. WePrescribe allow people to move to them even if they have stopped taking MJ after reaching goal. There are other pharmacies that allow this but these are the two I remember off the top of my head. Don’t be sucked into paying for nothing!

I'm fairly certain Swift Doctor is one of them.

After their recent inspection issues Oushk floated the idea on one of their sessions 3-4 weeks ago of potentially not accepting new customers for maintenance below BMI 25.5. Not sure if they will actually implement, but one to watch out for in the coming weeks/months.

Thank you all. I just knew about Oushk but good to there are others.
