Clothes swap suggestion

Following on from a comment on another post , I’m wondering if it might be a nice idea to set up a clothes swap for the price of postage for those needing temporary wardrobe refreshes whilst losing weight - one lady just about to get rid of a load of size 16 clothes , whereas having just moved back into a 16 my wardrobe is looking a bit light on stuff that fits well and yet im loathe to buy a load of 16s - anyone else think that this might be a decent idea or are you all looking to flog off on vinted etc??

I've sold loads on vinted and with the money I've made.. bought smaller sizes.. I'll just keep doing that .
Think there is a FB group doing what you suggest.. but without the protection like Vinted .. I'm not sure how it works if someone was not happy with the items.

How would a swap work? I want 16's but noone whose 16's are too big for them now is going to want my old 18s what do I swap with?

It’s a nice idea if people are willing to give stuff away without any guarantee of getting anything back because you can’t do straight swaps. You’d have to set it up like a chain letter (remember them?).

I love the idea, but not sure how it would work. As my 22-24 start getting too big , i wills tart looking for 20s. But the people who have slimmed out of the 20s will be looking for 18s not 22s

No im not thinking of a swap in terms of you have mine, I have yours - more of just a ‘give away’ to someone after stuff in your size - post up what you have etc ! And then use DM - I may of course be totally mad and it’s terrible idea .lol!! To be honest I’m not personally a fan of vinted as I can’t be arsed- this is more of an alternative to taking to the charity shop maybe
