7.5mg from 10mg pen

Hi, please could someone explain the click counting.
i ordered a 10mg and changed my mind to stay on 7.5mg. I clicked 45 to get the dose and now I’ve confused myself with how many doses I will get out of the pen. Do I need to get syringes to take the remaining out for the last one? If so how much do i draw out? TIA

So the pen does 4 x 60 clicks plus about 10 for priming, so 240 plus 10 for priming. 45 clicks x 5 gives you 225 clicks, leaving you with 15 clicks left over. So you can do 5 doses from the pen without needing to use syringes.

5 weekly doses would be within the 30 day limit, and so if you wanted to use the remaining liquid in the pen for a 6th dose, then you'd need syringes and be happy to risk using the pen past the advised expiry time.

If you did use syringes for a 6th dose, you would need 0.45ml for a 7.5mg dose, as a full dose is 0.6ml/60 clicks.

I find this chart very helpful.
It tells you clicks for a variety of doses from each pen, and also how much to draw out if you wanted to use a syringe.
