7.5mg to 10mg

Hi, so I’ve worked my way up since march and currently on 7.5mg. I’ve been on it 4 weeks and it has been the best for me over the others. I’ve not suffered badly with side effects but I did feel tired and cold and sometimes dizzy on 5mg but I didn’t know if the tiredness was mainly lifestyle related. I moved up to 7.5mg and frankly feel fabulous. I’m a slow loser at about 1lb/2lb a week…..that said I’ve now ordered/received my 10mg and I wondering whether it’s wise to move up….any thoughts or experiences welcome. I think my biggest concern is having bad side effects. TIA

I had barely any side effects on the first 3 strengths and only moved up to 10 a month ago when 7.5 lost a lot of its efficacy.

So I'm feeling this more, I must say. Nothing intolerable but very nauseous over the first couple if days after jabbing, plus dizziness when I stand up too fast.

Combating it by eating regularly and sticking to whole foods, avoiding excess fat. Normally cheese isn't an issue for me on MJ but it is the weekend after injection day now! All good, just took some thinking around it.

I wouldn't move up unless the previous dose has stopped working, personally. Not sure if this is the case with you?

Why did you order a higher dose if your current one seems right for you?

Perhaps just count clocks and stay on the same as you are now. You can move when you are ready if it stops working then

As above, what was your reasoning for moving up the dose? Did you speak to your supplier?
You can always count the clicks - many people feel at some point mid-month that the dosage isn't working for them and feel stuck on the current pen for a month.

I stayed on 7.5mg for 10 weeks with good losses. Only increasing to 10mg when my weight loss stalled for 3 weeks.

Weirdly on the 10mg over the past 6 weeks I have only lost 2lbs. Tempted to go back down to 7.5mg next. I was so happy on it!

I joined this thread as I'm on 7. 5too but not quite ready to go up.

I've been on 5 &for 3 months and 7.5 for 2.25 months so far...

I'm not sure why you'd go up if it's working. 1-2lb a week is literally the ideal bracket to aim for, you don't want to be losing more. Are you finding you want to eat a lot more and it's difficult to eat less?

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 30/06/2025 19:44

First, 1-2lbs is NOT SLOW! That is what you SHOULD be losing and what most of us are/have lost.

Second, I wouldn’t go up if I was still having great effects from 7.5 and feeling ‘fabulous’! 😁

Thanks for your replies, really appreciated. I think I moved up because of mixed reviews with follow the process v stay on what’s working. I have had times where I have remained the same during a week, but that is generally during my period week. My picky hunger generally comes back on day 6 but I know that’s normal. I’ll stay on 7.5mg and go by clicks, but will i need a syringe to get the last dose out? How many doses of 7.5 will I get out of the 10mg pen? Thanks
