How did you find the side effects of Mounjaro compared to Ozempic?
Seem to be reading of quite a lot of side effects with Mounjaro. I was good on Ozempic, little side effects. I've had a break from weight loss injections and am considering Mounjaro

I just switched a week ago, I went straight onto 10mg. I’d say there are less side effects during my first week.

No real side effects on either. Preferred Ozempic though as the week felt more predictable.

Hello, can anybody tell me where I can order from starting at 12.5? I have been using Asda online Doctor but their pens seem to keep jamming. I want to use somewhere else but it seems I can only start on the lowest dose and I don’t want to have to start again! Thank you

@Harry26 you don’t have to start at 2.5mg if you change pharmacies. I’ve just changed this month and last month too, on 10mg. You just say you’re already taking Mounjaro and what dose when you fill out the online consultation. You usually need to upload evidence of your last prescription, like a photo of the prescription label on your last pen box, showing the date, the dose and your name.

Having said that, the pens are the same wherever you get them from. They are all supplied to the pharmacies by Eli Lilly the manufacturer. When you say “jamming” what do you mean? When priming or when injecting? Or something else?

I lost a lot of weight on Wegovy over a full year, and had quite a lot of side effects. I stopped because of the price tag, battled my way through nearly a year without, but having put 10 kg back on, I'm now on Mounjaro. Whereas Wegovy started working instantly for me and I lost loads of weight initially, with Mounjaro its only now that I am six weeks in and half way through 5mg that I am beginning to feel any effect at all and I have not had any side effects yet other than some very mild nausea the last couple of days. I haven't lost much weight yet which is fine, I have a lot less to lose this time, but I wonder if there is something about having some level of muscle memory of this stuff that may be influencing things?

I tried Ozempic a couple of years ago but stopped when there was the national shortage.
Had worked up to the maximum dose which I think was then 1.25 mg.
Now been on monjaro for nine months, current dose 15mg.
No side effects from either except perhaps some mild constipation from mounjaro at higher doses initially.

I was on ozympic at 1 stopped for a few months put on weight and decided to startnon mountjaro but ive been put on 2.5 mg and no impact whatsover. Anyone else in same boat and at what does did u notice an effect. Thanks🙂
