Travelling Issues?

I’m really considering starting weight loss injections. I have a lot of weight to lose, around 70 pounds which will realistically take me a year or more.

My possible issue is that I travel a lot in a converted vehicle. Currently in Europe now for 6 weeks and would like to start when I come home.

The problem I have I have is that I go away again to Europe from September to December, and am planning a trip further afield from next April to December.

Checking in would not be a problem as we have Starlink and keeping the injections cold would be easy in our large fridge.

I contacted Shemed with the issue but have had to rule them out as they will only send 1 pen out at a time.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice? I really don’t want to stop travelling in my retirement while I lose weight.

Other pharmacies, Chemist4U for example, offer bundles where you can buy multiple pens. I presume that's your issue, that you will need to access a supply of multiple pens in advance?

April to December would be tricky though as that's about 9 months and I don't know if any pharmacy would let you have that many pens in advance.

Thanks both. Yes, my issue is getting enough pens in advance for the length of time. I know my big trip is for possibly too long a time but I’m hoping if I start in July and take a year then I might only need 3 months supply when I go.

5 stone only took me 6 months so you never know with your timescales!

Try your local pharmacy. My pharmacist told me today he can prescribe three months at a time if required.

I asked because of a forthcoming holiday and was tempted to buy two months today but he suggested that I just come in earlier than normal and get the next pen. That’s when he told me that he can prescribe three months worth.

I purchased by third pen off him today.

Where are you going ? You may be able to get the pens there.
