Is it just me who gets a bit nervous and has to mentally prepare themselves to inject? Never quite sure of the right time (over thinker here).

I’ve got a 5mg pen ready to move up from 2.5, but think I’ll try 3.75, terrified of increased side effects.

Any words of support appreciated!

I was like this at the start, but now 3 months in it just becomes routine now and I actually look forward to "jab day"!

That’s good - maybe I’ll adjust, I’m only 5 weeks in.

It's because you are going up your first dose and new to it. I'm on 12.5mg and love jab day as I instantly feel calmer, better and know it will manage my appetite for another week. I was also prediabetic so love jabbing with the health benefits and resolution of symptoms that it's given me.
I've never had any side effects other than feeling cold, many people don't experience side effects and if they do it is mild so please try not to worry.

Thanks @Histoscientist xx

I love jab day too! Don’t know why because it’s not different from any other day but I like weighing myself and looking back over all my data from the last 12 wks and thinking about when I’ll be at goal! I moved to 4.1 mg (was using dregs of old pen!) felt very tired and lost 3 lb that week so went back down to 2.5mg then following week back up to 3.75 mg which I’ve been on for 2 wks now. I get mild nausea first thing (just like morning sickness!) and a bit tired still but it’s fine. I think people with bad side effects definitely talk about it more than those of us who are just plodding along without much to say!!

@Incognitoburrito88 tiredness is my biggest side effect, I’ve done another 2.5 today and whimped out. I could do with more in the week prior to my period and maybe during. But this week I don’t actually have much of an appetite (not an unhealthy one) so I’ve done another 2.5.
