I've just had routine blood tests and my calcium level is too high. This has never happened before. Could WLI cause this? Also my cholesterol is high, again, even at my heaviest I've never had high cholesterol. My creatinine is low, but I don't fully understand that.

I don't eat much on WLI, but when I do, i tend to go more dairy based as I don't eat meat, plus I try and get calories in.

Obviously my biggest fear here is that I was reading high calcium in blood is often related to cancer.

Please talk me down!!!

Thank you.

Approximately 18 months ago my blood test revealed high calcium which after further tests proved to be due hyperparathyroidism. Have you ever had your vitamin D tested?

How are you feeling now? No, not tested for vitamin D. Would that suggest i have too much/little.
Thanks for replying 🙂

@lookyhero the Facebook page that is posted above is really helpful. I had an operation in February and have made a complete recovery.
I haven't a clue if your symptoms are related to mounjaro but maybe follow up your high calcium results with your GP and request a bone profile blood test.
Hope it gets resolved.

Thank you all. I'm awaiting more blood tests. It's so strange it's happened 4 months into WLI. I just feel anxious now
