I have been taking Ozempic for a couple of months now and it has had no effect on my weight. I have upped the exercise, pushing the protein. I am a diabetic and have other meds that I take but I am the only person I know for whom it did nothing!

Nope. Not me but my DF was previously on it for his diabetes. No weight loss but improved blood sugar control

Are you tracking your calorie intake to make sure you are eating under target?

I’m on Mounjaro for diabetes and still need to track and think about my calories. Protein is often high calorie, so while you need to eat enough of it, you need to be careful to not overeat. Exercise is great, brilliant for muscles, cardio system, improving your mood, your posture but it does very little for weight loss,

Everyone doesn't achieve weight loss from Semaglutide and its also dose dependent. If it has been prescribed via NHS for blood sugar management the dose may not be high enough for you to start loosing weight. You should discuss it with your prescriber.

Nope I didn’t lose much. Have given it up

Have you got into a calorie deficit?

WLI don’t prevent weight loss so if you eat in a calorie deficit you will lose weight. Eating more protein isn’t going to help you lose weight.
