Has anyone had a problem with suppliers re bonus dose and timing of your orders?

Hello, I’ve just done my 3rd jab and already ordered my next pen, so no issues so far. I am planning to use the bonus dose before starting the new pen.

When I ordered the second pen they did ask how many doses of the current pen I had used and on what date I last injected.

No issues this time of course, but it made me wonder whether there could be a problem when you will seem behind with your doses to the prescriber because each time you use a bonus dose it makes the first dose of the next pen a week later?

Are they bothered about you using the extra dose or do you have to make up what the date should have been? Presumably then at some point you will get miles ahead though with your ordering!

I am getting it from Boots (but I know practically nobody on here is).

No, never been asked anything like that from any of the pharmacies I have used. It seems a bit like overkill to me. Plus, it’s very possible to have delayed an injection due to side effects or travel, and so on, so there shouldn’t be penalties or any issues for having dates different to what might be expected.

Im always ordering late because I always think I have used one less dose than I have for some reason. Never been questioned on it. I also don’t use the “bonus” as I see it being there for a reason (might be that reason is more money for them haha) but try to use it as recommended

Mine is ok with up to 6 weeks between orders.

I am ready with my "ill and skipped a week", "forgot to take a dose", "been on holiday and didn't take my pen", "travelling with work" excuses if needed!

They questioned my ordering gap once when I ordered two pens close to one another before Christmas in case of any delays which caused a larger gap after, but they were fine to supply when I said I had ordered early and which dose I was currently using.

I have never been asked questions like that. It’s none of their bloody business quite frankly and is definitely something that would make me move prescriber!

I have fallen into a pattern of ordering around my 4th dose as I know I have another and am with a very reliable pharmacy so haven’t had a problem with delays or anything.

I have ordered erratically in the past when I was with a pharmacy that gave out discount codes at random times so do actually have a spare pen in the fridge. Not the end of the world though 😂

Weren’t boots found selling Wegovy to someone under age and then not asking id on collection.

For the love of god messing around with a bonus dose is potential trouble from someone left with an injury from cellulitis and debridement surgery with no answers forthcoming from the nhs. Disallowed to take pictures in a hospital setting and being asked the most stupidest of questions like did I chose to inject into a swollen leg but no one asked to see the pens used and I’m only grateful in the future if ever asked the two before hospital still have some liquid in them and subsequent ones after 4th dose are going in the sharps box.

7 weeks on with a double bandage back in this heat, weeps when walked on, the part of lower leg that grew the alien ball of fluid (and just there temporarily) still receives phantom pains, it is not worth the misery of using these WLJ as they are not intended.
