Thinking about wli

Bollynicks · 17/06/2025 12:08

Thinking about trying wli to help me lose weight. I am 5ft 1 and 12 stone 5 pounds. I've signed up to Nutracheck who has set my daily calories at 1400.

I am slightly nervous about buying the wli and they don't work.

What will you have lost if it doesn’t work? A bit of money!

What will you gain if it does…?

The comment above mine.. perfect.. so you lose £100 trying.. you might find spending £100 was the best thing you ever did.

Go for it!!!

Thanks both.

Might get one pen to try and see how I go.

@Bollynicks that was my thinking, give it a month, 2 months, then a third. I’m now 23lb lighter and hopeful for the first time in years.

BuildersTea001 · 17/06/2025 22:17

I did them just for a month and have to say, my digestion hasn't been the same since...I wouldn't take them again, although I didn't have loads to lose in the first place. Sort of wish I'd have stuck to the old fashioned way of weight loss. They are serious medication, I am slightly worried things won't go back to normal again

Bollynicks · 18/06/2025 00:40

Sorry to read that @BuildersTea001 I presume that you have filled in a yellow card and your GP has referred you to your local hospital for investigations? Hope things get better for you soon.

@tryingtobesogood that's a fantastic weight loss. Well done. A few years ago I tried Saxanda and liked it, I was losing a pound a week and it really de bloated me and got rid of my water weight. I've kept the weight off from using that (had to stop due to no stock) I've been plodding along making little changes and increasing exercise. Just feeling like I could do with a helping hand again.

This is how I tackled it. I was morbidly obese though and still heavier than you are now. I decided to give it a week and if the side effects were not too bad, try to do all 4 doses. 7 months later I have lost 5 and a half stone; definitely give it a go!

ithinkilikethislittlelife · 19/06/2025 07:18

I started it in January at 12 stone 9 and I weighed Saturday and I’m 10 stone 2. It’s been incredible for me and it has cut my appetite and I make sensible choices too.

Worth a try. If it doesn't work well for you, or the side effects are such that you feel the juice isn't worth the squeeze, at least you'll know. It sounds like something you're liable to be wondering about until you try it.
