Mounjaro Asda timeframe

I have taken the plunge and decided to try out Mounjaro in order to get some control over my weight. I have ordered it tonight through Asda and await for them to process my order which had a collection date of Tuesday.

My question is, has anyone done their first order with Asda the last couple of weeks and if so how long did they take to approve it? I can see they stay 4-6day so wondered if this is correct and my collection date is therefore incorrect.

Im a very impatient person and now I have made the decision I just want to get on with it.

I’ve been with ASDA ten months. They used to be quick - I once got approved for a repeat in 15 mins 😂 but these days its between 5-7 days total.

They say now its 4 working days to get in front of a doctor for approval.

This month is the first I have seen this 4-7 day timeframe, and it was accurate for me. I would say, when approved, your pen will likely be dispatched same day - DPD note comes between 6-7pm for me, and I always get next day. I think just once it was an extra day longer!

Also this last time I got an email to let me know update on processing times and then, an email to say I would be processed soon - I was approved 3 hours later.

Thank you thats good to know, now I need to decide if I'm going to be patient or try elsewhere. Awful I know but I don't want to give myself time to change my mind.

I started with Asda last month, took 5 days from submitting photos to receiving delivery. My repeat was much quicker. I'd stick with them, probably take longer if you switched at this point. They offer a good service with lots of advice compared to another provider I've used. Use the time to look at meal planning and exercise ready for it arriving. Good luck.

I ordered on Weds 4th June and was approved on Mon 9th with Asda.

My photos were sent on Saturday, I had my pen by 12.30 yesterday!

I ordered this morning at about 7am, first ever order from anywhere. Received an automated email asking for the photos but nothing more. I’ve chosen collection as I’m near Asda but no idea of collection date - it just said 4-6 days for doctor review.

I shall try and be patient lol

I jumped ship and ordered through Oxford Online Pharmacy and they arrive tomorrow morning 🙈 i was already talking myself out of it so if it was more like the end of the week I would have bailed.
Im concerned about the side effects, I had HG when pregnant so it's the nausea I'm most concerned about. Any tips to avoid side effects or reduce them would be greatly appreciated 😁
