Hi loves, thought I'd check back in and give you an update. Everyone looks so fabulous! I hope you're all feeling good too.

To remind folks - I went on MJ in August '24 (same as everyone else here!) and stayed on until December '24. I took a break, partly because I had a bunch of work travel which was really full on, and partly because I'd got about halfway to my target and wanted a break to see what being off it felt like.

So in Aug-Dec I went from 15 st 8lb (size 16-18) to 12 st 11lb (size 14-16). Never went higher than 3.75mg. In the last 5 months, I've put on around 6 lb, with a little variation, which has felt fine and stable - some from a little too much cake, some I presume is water weight coming back on. All of the work I put into restructuring my eating in terms of 'normal' portion sizes, high protein + veg, minimal snacking, staying hydrated, has stayed with me and I'm so proud of myself for that - I've carried on lightly tracking what I eat (no calories or macros, just notes) to keep an eye on myself. Also all of the inflammation stuff like swollen ankles has stayed away too.

So summer's back again and I thought I'd come back for round 2 for the final few stone. ASDA have just approved me again with no photos needed, also looks like their pricing has massively dropped since last year! So feeling pretty good about this next step.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/06/2025 22:48

Nice to hear from you @lookathatbookcase

6lb gain in just under 6mths doesn’t sound to bad but understand why back on it

Asda used to be one of the highest like boots.

what do they charge now ?

4pink1blue · 17/06/2025 07:02

I'm only my 2nd week with no jab and maintaining nicely 😊 I've really learned a lot about 'normal ' eating over the last 9 months. I'm content with my weight now and I'm concentrating on toning up and getting fitter. 8.5 stone gone and I'm determined it's not creeping back 😂

Wow @4pink1blue!
That’s awesome and you look amazing. Well done

owlyboo · 17/06/2025 07:57

@troppibambini6i would get the 10 as you can always draw less when needed. Im currently using a 10 for my 2.5! I’m sure the 6 pounds will be off soon. Especially once you 💩

@NippyNinjaCrabenjoy Mexico!!

good luck with round two @lookathatbookcase

looking fab @4pink1blue

Wow @4pink1blue what a difference, bet you feel amazing!

And also spent too much money on new clothes, I've realised I need more clothes again now as nothing bloody fits.. my tops look stupid, off to the shops I go..

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/06/2025 11:34

This is why I barely bought anything while losing weight. The odd pair of jeans and @NippyNinjaCrab kindly sent me some 16

i mainly lived in baggy leggings /jeans and tops over winter /spring and like a butterfly I came out into summer stuff and people are omfg you’ve lost weight

as used to seeing me in baggy stuff or coats

4pink1blue · 17/06/2025 11:37

Thanks guys! I'm feeling good. Sadly hubby isn't great at expressing his thoughts so not really got a reaction from him but he buys me lots of new smaller clothes so I'll forgive him 😉 😂

FurForksSake · 17/06/2025 12:02

Wow some awesome progress!!

I’ve slimmed through some of my newer clothes, but preparing for when I maintain so saving stuff in 12 and small 14 just in case.

9st4 this morning, stall very much broken. 4lbs to get to 5 stone lost. 11lbs to get to goal.

Just a quick one if anyone is interested..
Emailed simple pharmacy as a newbie for a price match of market place for 10mg at £125, on Friday 13th,
They emailed back 14th saying yes and gave me a code

I ordered on 14th, £3.99 postage so £129 total.
They queried my date of birth next, said it didn't match so I sent them my ID again and checked I did actually put it correctly which I did..
Sent out 16th, received today 17th.

So quite happy with that, bag was a but squished but that's nothing new really..

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/06/2025 17:19

Yes that’s a good price @morbidcuriosity

OP posts:
lookathatbookcase · 17/06/2025 17:44

@Blondeshavemorefun can't remember exact numbers but I think ASDA used to charge around £160-170, and are now (I think?) £110-120.

FurForksSake · 17/06/2025 17:46

Gosh those prices are good, I paid voy far too much!!

morbidcuriosity · 17/06/2025 18:07

My 1st pen back in August of 2.5mg was £189 from asda.. I didn't know any better... glad I found you lot here!!!

owlyboo · 17/06/2025 19:55

Weird… did my first 2.5 yesterday and my suppression is super high today?! Weird! Can’t face dinner at the moment. I had a sausage sandwich for lunch and had to only eat the sausage on the second half… obviously I’ll force something down in a bit. Really odd to suddenly have massive suppression all of a sudden! So strong even shopping was hard as I couldn’t think of what I would want to eat. Planning to see this pen out with 2.5’s for as long as it lasts (probably another month or so) then come off completely.

SilverSprings510 · 17/06/2025 20:01

Hi all! Sorry, had a really busy few weeks and haven’t been able to message. Been the centerparcs and abroad in that time! Been over a month now since stopping MJ and my weight is definitely fluctuating but not massively so and I haven’t been above the next stone which is my goal whilst not on MJ. I have already decided after TTC that I will go back on it to lose more! I have lost over 6.5 stone and I am happy staying the same whilst TTC with 13 stone being my marker of right you need to be really strict this week. Like I say, I have had my birthday, holidays etc so haven’t been really good.

Went to a wedding at the weekend - really felt very happy in my own skin and that matters more to me than my weight at the moment!
