@Weepixie I want a lady who puts me together clothes wise 😂😂

Maybe find someone on Instagram that you can relate to..eg similar age, lifestyle and height? I follow quite a few for ideas.
My latest purchase were some gold platform sandals from M&S that were reduced from £55 to £27
Also got a gorgeous white jacket style cardigan from Primark for £20 for cooler evenings on holidays...felt very glam in that with M&S dark denim jeans (bought 2 years ago when I had managed to reach 10 stone and squeezed into a 10)

** - when I was out with my girls yesterday I picked up a waistcoat for one of them and said, you should try this love, AzureSky was saying they’re really on trend this season.

I have always loved fashion. When I was on a very low income and much heavier I made all my own clothes ...just very simple shift dresses.
The joy of buying clothes that fit that feel great in is the best thing that MJ has given me 😊
Lat year I saw someone at a party a couple of years older than me in a white waistcoat and trousers...wouldn't have ever imagined that I could wear that a year later..over the moon now 😍

Sounds fine to me..agree with @FurForksSakethen, have light breakfast and tea. Have you tried lentil baked crisps? I love chocolate covered pretzels but calorie count is off the scale 😱😱😱

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/07/2025 20:23

Yes I eat then all the time.

I love those, they taste like poppadoms

Azuresky68 · 29/07/2025 20:49

Final update for the day. Had my weight verification call. They didn't even bother to check my height even though I had my tape measure hanging from the wall.

Jabbed yesterday - decided to go up to 12.5 as I have been struggling with hunger and really want to get down to 8 st 7 as planned.

What I ate today:
B 1 weetabix, collagen powder and Greek yoghurt
L 2 egg omelette
D 139 g salmon and 100g asparagus baked in air fryer with a little bit of butter
300 mls skimmed milk
Under a 1000 cals as I try to stay low when suppresion is high and save calories for the weekend.
Still hungry but really need to double down this week.

owlyboo · 29/07/2025 20:50

Had a fan NSV today. Picked up some vinted parcels I’d ordered and opened some denim shorts and thought ‘oh no they’re tiny they’ll never fit’ got home and tried them on and they fitted perfectly! Yay! Love vinted and now got my daughter on it as well. It’s great for if you ‘know’ your size in most stores and you can be more sure it’ll fit especially if you’re had a similar design from the same store. I always set it to brand new or very good and so far everything has arrived as if it’s never been worn!

owlyboo · 29/07/2025 20:51

And thanks @Azuresky68☺️

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/07/2025 22:47

Love salmon @Azuresky68/ sorry you are hungry. Must be awful to be on 1000

great nsv @owlyboop

Hello everyone - just popping in to say thank you again for all your posts and especially the pics you post. I’ve still got a long way to go but so very nearly just overweight rather than obese. Probably seems eons ago since you all got there, which is why I really appreciate the effort you all put in to keep posting.

for all the short arses among us, I follow oh.my.marks on instagram who is a fellow 5’2” er. Her style is fabulous and whilst she is a size 8 or 10, and does occasionally post some expensive pieces, she hunts out the bargains in the sales too and those are the pieces I usually get. Not been disappointed yet with anything she suggests, and got some lovely dresses from H&M - cheapest was £13. Some trousers for £10.50 were another great buy she suggested.

Azuresky68 · 30/07/2025 07:48

@BettyandtheVets I follow her too! Some great ideas.
Also follow dressedtomax. Her focus isn't on weight loss but she is short and has been steadily losing weight and has about 1.5 soine to go. She always looks great and inspires me for style ideas, although she tends to buy more expensive stuff.
Well done on continuing your journey. Keep osting even if its only ince ir twice a month. I really value this thread to and will be sticking around!

20bloodypounds · 30/07/2025 08:09

I've just returned from a short birthday trip away, seem to have put on 2lbs in 3 days! I know it's not real weight or fat, but it's been a long time since my weight has increased by that much. And I didn't think I'd been so very bad in my food choices or the amounts I'd eaten.

I'm on maintenance, not trying to lose more really, but it's going to have to be a strict week, because mentally want to reassure myself that I can keep to this weight - with or without the help of small doses of MJ.

I'd not jabbed at all for 2 weeks (I'd been nauseous a coule of times, and actually horribly sick once - which I really didn't want to risk for my birthday). Over the past 2 days in particular I felt really hungry - stomach rumbling at 5am, then again 3 hours after a big breakfast (and a long walk). I'm an MJ weakling, so I've gone back to 2.5mg, jabbed yesterday evening, and hoping the hungry feelings will have subsided today.

For breakfast I'm going to have boiled egg and toast. Hopefully that will stop me from being tempted by a pain au chocolat when my friend and I have coffee after our morning beach walk. Lunch will be ham, cheese and avocado salad, then inspired by @Azuresky68 I'll have salmon and veg for dinner, with a couple of home grown baby potatoes.

Azuresky68 · 30/07/2025 08:51

@20bloodypounds great that you weighed straightaway but that 2 pounds will soon be gone. I try and cut back on carbs for a quick result but as soon as I eat them again my weight goes up.
I was brought up by the sea but live 90 minutes away now in Leeds. Always love being by the sea.
Still got suppression from 12 5 so today I am skipping breakfast. Working at the theatre this afternoon ..it's Fiddler on the Roof!

Today I am having:
L Smashed avo on 1 piece of toast plus 1 egg

D Salmon and asparagus baked in Air Fryer with butter

2 tbsbs Collagen in my coffee
300 mls skimmed milk
Just under 1000 cals 😱

20bloodypounds · 30/07/2025 09:15

@Azuresky68 my favourite musical! It was the first LP that my parents bought when we got a record player (that and Bert Bacharach!) and I know every word of it. Going to see it later this year.

Had a couple of long train journeys for my birthday trip, and as I was passing towns, villages and houses I was wondering whether any of you lived in them (or the many thousands of others who are on a similar weight loss journey). Funny to think we've got unknown friends across the UK (and across the world @Weepixie )

Azuresky68 · 30/07/2025 09:48

@20bloodypounds I haven't seen it before but like you I was brought up on musicals...my parents had South Pacific on LP and I know every word of those songs.
I work part-time at the theatre as I get to see all the shows and get paid for it!

FurForksSake · 30/07/2025 10:45

Anyone ordered from oushk recently? Proper interrogation even though I’ve completed the maintenance and weight verification calls. They’ve tightened things up hugely.

FurForksSake · 30/07/2025 10:55

2lbs will come off in a blink, but I think the attitude of not letting it slide and tightening up will be what I have to do when i start to come off. So easy to stop tracking and measuring.

Addictedtobeauty · 30/07/2025 11:21

@Azuresky68 you're in for a treat- Fiddler on the Roof os my favourite too. Such great music.

I haven’t posted in forever but am still here. I catch up on your posts every few days/week - I can’t keep up on real time.
im 6 pounds away from my initial goal weight and am delighted. Losses are very slow now - I’m on 12.5mg and maybe lose 2 pounds a month. But I’m absolutely fine with that- it’s going, no rush. I think I’ll aim for about 9 1/2 stone to give myself wiggle room. And I definitely need to do some serious Toning- I am at the melting candle stage, especially tops of thighs. I wobble as I walk- and my bum is flat as. But better than thunder thighs and fat and flat which it was before.

FurForksSake · 30/07/2025 11:23

just looked up my McDonald’s pancakes and sausage, 600 calories! I won’t be doing that again for a year. I won’t be in a deficit today, a good warning of just how easy it is / was to make a choice and regret it. It wasn’t 600 calories nice.

lookathatbookcase · 30/07/2025 11:27

Weighed myself at the dr's today, on actual medical scales, and am down to 12st 5! Not 12st 10 as my scales at home say!!! Which means that I'm now fully down 3st 4lb, or a large elephant's heart! Mind actually blown. Still at least another stone to go but gosh, we're getting there.

FurForksSake · 30/07/2025 11:38

Woohoo!! That’s a nice surprise
