I feel so hungry today

b tin of peaches - 2 x seeded toast butter marmite

l chicken sizzlers and veg

grapes as am snack
snack bar as pm snack

nkt sure what to have for tea. Have tons in freezer so need to start eating through it

but hungry !!

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 26/07/2025 15:45

How’s the hunger going? @Blondeshavemorefun I hope it’s been manageable!

I got a message saying bloods normal, no further action. Checked the app and that’s just my full blood count, the bit that relates to anaemia on that is very close to low. So, still waiting for that. They’ve done iron, liver, thyroid and vitamin d, I think.

suppression is good today after jabbing yesterday, I’ve managed to do something of a bowel movement, I am going to take the lactulose daily to see if it keeps things going.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/07/2025 15:55

Great bloods normal but annoying haven’t been given the info you want

what number were you v think my lowest was 104

I’m def hungry and that’s rare day 2

it’s manageable. Yes I would love to stuff my face with bad junk food

but I won’t

OP posts:
FurForksSake · 26/07/2025 15:57

Everything on full blood count is normal, MCH was 323 and abnormal is 320. I’m hoping the rest of the blood tests won’t take too long to come back.

Weepixie · 26/07/2025 16:12

@blondie If I don’t have a good breakfast - something like a heavy in the veg omelette and toast and starving by half past 10. Toast and a spread and fruit would do nothing for me even though I do have when I take a fancy to it, so I always have a boiled egg or two on the side as well.

Sometime I just love toast and butter and jam.

That’s so close to the lower end of normal that I wouldn’t accept it as a good normal. It’s something I’ve argued about with regard to ferritin in the past - if the normal range is between 30 and 90 and my result is 35 then it’s obviously not nearly as good as it could be. And just to add I pulled the 30 and 90 out of thin air as an example.

I wouldn’t accept it not being treated because it’s 3 marks above the minimum it should be.

Weepixie · 26/07/2025 16:39

I hope everyone is good 😊

I have a plan put together by a Dr who knows me very well. It’s been put together today because the postural BP fluctuations are more frequent as are my blood sugar crashes. So, I’ve not to wait till I attend the specialist BP clinic in a few weeks and tomorrow I stop the BP medication. I’ll have to monitor it just to be on the safe side, the BP clinic will still need to see my readings so they can decide what to do going forward. I’ve also to have a heart echo as a precaution, one of my BP reading could indicate something serious but can also be explained away easily by other things. Im not worried at all about it.

Ive also to start doing blood sugar tests first thing in the morning.

My next dose of Mounjaro will be 7.5. I know I’ve come as far as I should with it. My body has had enough of what it’s taken to get me a kilo or so away from target but I really do want to stress that Mounjaro hadn’t impacted me negatively. It has in fact done the opposite - it’s got me to such a good place health wise that it’s telling me loud and clear - you’re has had enough of me, it’s working really well on its own, now stop. It’s struck me for a while now that this must be one of the very few drugs around that you take more of the lighter you get - it just doesn’t add up but maybe there’s someone out there who can explain it.

So a mighty relieved WeePixie here tonight, I knew what I had to do but I just needed someone to take charge of me and say, come on, just do it.

4pink1blue · 26/07/2025 17:45

Hi ladies. Checking in although not sure I still belong here after 6 weeks jab free?? I've not been weighing but I'm maintaining my size 10/12 and feeling great. Had a disaster with a phone fault and have lost all my progress pics 😞 I'm absolutely gutted.
On a happier note it was my 24th wedding anniversary last week so for a laugh thought I'd try my dress on...it's too big! I remember barely eating to slim into it and I was even getting told off by my weight watchers leader for losing too much weight each week. I thought that weight was unsustainable but here we are 🤷 maintaining a 8.5stone loss!

Course you do @4pink1blue as in the ideal world we would all be off it and able to maintain and no pain etc

tho the way I’m going I will stay on a low dose if the pain is going to increase

Happy wa and glad managing to maintain

look at all ours threads Via desktop and and you will see all pics of thread at top so maybe can salvage some

or via cloud /google pics etc

Aww gutting to lose pictures, I hope you can retrieve them somewhere. Please do stay, as already said in an ideal world we’d come off. Gives me hope that maybe I can come off at some point!

you look great in the dress! I was going to pop mine back on but too challenging at the moment. Maybe in September!

just ordered fried chicken for dinner, I should have ordered the salad but I’m not very hungry so just ordered some chicken tenders and mac and cheese (which I won’t eat much off) for me. Probably should have got the salad!

Weepixie · 26/07/2025 19:03

Yeah, I knew we enjoyed similar breakfasts and I thought if I’m hungry on toast and spread maybe you are too.

Dinner wise - I had toast and tea. I was at a birthday tea party for one of my grandchildren today and had a funny turn after a Samboosa with a crunchy coleslaw type side salad, half a sandwich, a small stuffed vine leaf and 2 mouthfuls of a snickers cheesecake my daughter made. I was quite ill after it and I’ve no idea what happened but it just felt as if it was just too much for my body to process. My daughter thinks the dressing was too spicy for me but I’m good with spice, so who knows? Anyway, I got home and an hour or so later I had tea and toast to settle my tummy. I’m such a lightweight nowadays 🤣

FurForksSake · 26/07/2025 19:28

Sometimes food is just too rich for me out of the blue, very irritating! Hope you feel ok now.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/07/2025 20:32

Spice

ffs

I said before that anything hot and spicy even very mild spice doesn’t seem to agree with me anymore.

So I tried my lovely meat feast pizza too fucking hot so now I don’t know what to have to eat.

I’ve had a strawberry moose thing. the vinegar lentil crisps are calling my name

a really healthy tea not

@FurForksSake thanks for your reply.
Yes I have been spacing jabs 5 or 6 days apart. I am going to really try hard to maximise weight loss in August as I have no big events or holidays..it feels so hard to get back to the 8 stone 7 pounds I got to in June. I was thinking maybe I should try for under 8 stone 7 as then I would have a bit more wriggle room for next holiday. I might even try upping my dose next week to
12.5 mg. My average daily calories have been 1250 but I know I have to be on 1000 to lose weight especially now my BMI is around 24 9 and 24.6

Baggy skin and wrinkles are here to stay as I am 69 now.

I could feel sad because I rarely had a bikini body in my life.and now I have lost weight I still don't have one! No stretch marks though just poor muscle tone and I had 2 C sections (no scar)

I look better with clothes on but my arms aren't great.

At the end of the day I am still going to wear a bikini and sleeveless clothes despite the wrinkles!

At least my face is pretty good as I use 50 SPF and I have never had a thin face.
How are you doing? I am sorry but I forget at what age and stage we are all at! But you are on maintenance now aren't you?

When you look at yourself you might do so through a critical lens, so you see saggy skin, wrinkles etc. Other people might look at you and think 'wow! look at that fabulous woman!' They are not examining the details, they are taking a holistic view. The same as we are on here. We see your photos and we think you look amazing (and you do!)

20bloodypounds · 26/07/2025 21:24

@Azuresky68 the pink dress looks really great.

Azuresky68 · 27/07/2025 08:45

@20bloodypounds thanks for your kind comments. Overall I am really positive and I feel great about how I look now.
It gives me pleasure to look in the mirror and buy new clothes without having to disguise my tummy!

I feel grateful that I could afford the jabs and that I am relatively healthy for my age.

The sags, bags and wrinkles are the proof I am getting older. I am not going to let that stop me from wearing sleeveless tops or bikinis though!

I have slim friends of a similar age who have wrinkles, varicose veins and cellulite.
It's more about accepting the ageing process these days for me and feeling a bit sad for my former fat self.
Losing weight has made me feel and look younger.
I am also grateful that I am still alive, having lost close friends of the same age before their time.
There is an interesting article about feeling sad about being treated diffenty after losing weight on MJ. Worth a read

I am a bit worried that people will be sick of me posting so much these days. It's my lifeline for maintenance anxiety because I dont feel I can talk about this to anyone else.

A couple of my close friends struggle with their weight and I don't like to share too much with them as I feel it is insensitive. One of them would love to be on MJ but can't because of various medical conditions.

My naturally slim friends are delighted for me but wouldn't understand the struggle of weight loss and maintenance.

At the risk of boring everyone (sorry) I weighed in yesterday at 8 stone 12. This was after a weigh in last week of 8 stone 10. I don't feel or look any different and am not upset.

I am having to accept that getting to my goal of 8 St 7 is going to be tough. I actually reached it early June but only for a week. Maintaining at 8 St 12 is OK , I was terrified of a big gain once I got to goal.
I am looking at it that I have maintained at 8 stone 12 since May
Still on 10 mg abd counting calories but you can't eat a lot on 1000.

Happy Sunday to everyone and very best for next week 😀 💐🌟☺️
