Holiday Question

Just looking for advice with regards to holiday. I have been healthy eating and then MJ for 10 weeks and 2 stone down. I have been on 2.5 8 weeks and 3.25 last two (thinking about going back to 2.5 as now feel rubbish for couple of days after I inject and can't eat). I eat well on MJ and not eating takeaway, fast food etc. But high fibre and protein.
I am going to Florida in October and not sure what to do about taking MJ. I would be due to take it day I go and away for 10 days.
I have been a few uk breaks while on it and no issue as can still eat same as present with good choices.
Worry is in Florida choices are not going to be easy. We are staying in Universal without car and will be mostly be eating in and around universal and I am a bit worried that higher fat food will make me ill on MJ.
Also I don't want my hubby and dd not to be able to go to places that they are looking forward to eating in because feel that need to find places that I can have a healthy choice. If it was a beach holiday it would be no issue as easy to eat well but its because its Florida that I am worried.
So question is do you think I should stop before I go, or carry on as normal with smaller portions and hope the higher fat food doesn't make me ill. Does anyone have any experience

If it was me I would carry on and really concentrate on picking the food options that work for you. Caesar salad and such like.

I’ve been on MJ for a similar amount of time to you and I am pretty sure I can eat whatever I want.. I’ve had homemade pizza for dinner every Friday since starting, I often have some chocolate and have had chips a couple of times when eating out… my portions are small but I can eat these foods without any repercussions. Your holiday isn’t for ages so why don’t you try some controlled experiments to see if you can tolerate small portions of less healthy food.. if so you can carry on without worrying.

just in case anyone comes on here and accuses me of not changing my diet etc etc I eat very healthily 98% of the time but sometimes situations arise where you have to make less good choices and when this has happened I’ve not been unwell.

I’ve had a couple of holidays on MJ. The last one was for 12 days. I took it 2 days before going (moved the days around a bit over the weeks before) then took the day I got back as a 14 day gap is fine.

I can eat and drink mostly anything now as my body has got used to it over the last 7 months, am still on 5mg although I either make healthier choices or just have a smaller portion. I put on 3lb while away but had lost it within a week so think it was just water weight.

There's a weight-loss coach in the US who has lost 160lb and she has created a number of reels for all American restaurants of what she are before and what she eats now so may help with choices. Obviously when I want to find her name, her feels don't appear anywhere!

Florida isn't as bad as it used to be with food options. When I first went in 2000, the size of portions made me feel sick just thinking about it. They had deep fried bacon in the breakfast buffet. So disgusting.

When I went last there were actually plenty of nice restaurants with healthy choices in the parks. I tended to go for the Asian restaurants more, rather than burger type places, as the options are much better there
