Anyone else need to lose some weight after mounjaro? (Without MJ this time)

Have gained 14lbs since stopping MJ.

The first 3 months were OK. I fought the food noise and stuck to the calories but the next 3 months I just caved. I couldn't control the urges to eat, just the same as before :(

I can't go back on MJ as its been 6 months and My BMI is classed as healthy now.

Anyone want to lose a stone with me in similar situation?

If you want to restart Mounjaro there are some pharmacies that may allow you to restart after a break as long as you have proof of previous prescribing and weight loss history. monj.co.uk has some information.

My BMI is too low now, I won't get prescibed.

Most of the pharmacies on the link above will prescribe at a BMI of 21

How low did you go if you've gained 14lb but are still healthy? The last study I read showed that people on average regained 7% in the first few months of MJ (but frustratingly didn't have further data after that).

On the otherhand maybe it was artificlaly low with he MJ and if you're a healthy weight it might settle there?

I'm on MJ with a way to go but wondering if I'll need to be on it long term.

I maintained 9st for 3 months and am now 10st but the difference is remarkable between those weights.

Yeah I came to say the same about joining a pharmacy. Glad you're sorted. Who did you go with btw?

I think lots of us will need a long term maintenance plan. I definitely need it for PCOS.

Was very straightforward.
