The only meds which are similar to GLP1s are the other GLP1s.

MN have confirmed our suspicions about different account names and banned the user. Hopefully we can crack on with just being a nice, quiet support for each other again.

Thank goodness for that, normal service resumes again, phew.

Thank you!

I expect she's using a VPN and she'll be back at some point. But stay vigilant, everyone. I hate it when the energy of the thread dips.

I'm deeply suspicious about the motivation of someone who chooses this thread specifically to troll, which makes me very protective of it and of you guys.
Fuck it, if she does come back we can just sit on her and crush her 😂

Billybingbong · 26/06/2025 23:18

@PinkArt 🤣🤣🤣 best thread of the night. Lord help anyone who gets crushed by our collective lard arses. Im not counting @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne in this though, because she braved a picture the other day, and her arse doesn't appear to be anywhere near lardy any more 🤣🤣

What is going on?! 😲😂
Must be something in the water! 💦 Although WE’VE all drunk gallons of it and managed to stay decent humans! 😂

Why were those last two posts deleted?

I only saw one of them, and it was a totally unnecessary comment obviously made to cause a reaction. Looks like coralcrow was lilac and zaicandy and whoever else she’s been masquerading as, and Mumsnet has got rid x

Well done Mumsnet for being all over this and acting so quickly. We are all very protective of this great little safe space of ours, thank you for helping us protect it

The first one was just out to provoke a reaction. The 2nd one was just 2 words in italics and something about constipation.

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 27/06/2025 01:22

I didn't see the last 2 but had been getting fed up with the poster keep pestering us. I'd tried to report yesterday so Im glad they had enough evidence today!

I literally don't understand why someone enjoys trolling or what the point is. Well done everyone and I think it just reminds us how special our space is.

Its crazy o clock here as I've stayed up late on soemthing and didn't realise how late. I didn't take one of my other tablets yesterday which three me out of sync so I know I've over eaten. I weigh in Friday /in the morning so psyching myself telling myself a couple of days of extra food isn't ruining 6months work! It's just food.. It will come off...

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 27/06/2025 01:22

And yes can't remember if I said it earlier -awesome picture!!!!

Bulldogsummer · 27/06/2025 03:33

Oh wow I've got 10 pages to catch up on .
Needs a brew I think to go with them .
Lot of deleted posts ,has someone been naughty 😮

Weightlossprincess · 27/06/2025 04:53

Entertained my insomniac self.....by reading about everyone else struggling with insomnia 🤣

Has anyone else found that by default they are attributing every single odd bodily function to the mounjaro? It's becoming my default. For some reason I've suffered horrendously with being bitten by insects this year and am scratching like a mangy cat, never usually get bitten. Said to my partner....oh, must be due to the mounjaro.

GnomeDePlume · 27/06/2025 05:10

@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden I hope you are able to get medications back in sync.

Re why people troll. Some years ago I read some quite interesting writing where someone described different types of online disinhibition. You see all forms on MN. The good, the bad and the ugly.

The good is on many threads including this one. Supporting each other in ways we possibly would feel inhibited to do in real life.

The bad are the malicious posts which are made to hurt. The online equivalent of throwing stones at strangers.

The ugly are the people who treat the whole thing as a game. Who aren't honest posters, making things up to get attention or sympathy.

It's a subject which I find fascinating!

Iwouldratherbesinging · 27/06/2025 07:14

Ooooh, looks like I missed some drama yesterday, had to work late, then band rehearsal, then packing for holibobs today!
it is fascinating, especially the ‘ugly’ definition as @GnomeDePlume described, but it’s good to know that Mumsnet has our backs!
I do feel sorry for the person, there must be a reason why people do this, it’s a bit sad…
@Billybingbong we need the laughing emoji back, your comment is up there with the funniest of all time!

enjoy the peace everyone and happy Friday

Motnight · 27/06/2025 07:26

Oh! I was taken in by the latest trolling 😕. Though I did wonder but put it down to my overly suspicious nature. Glad that normal service has been resumed.

I'm in a new stone bracket - been in 7 stone brackets since I started. Another 3 lb and I will get to a 6 stone loss. Dreading the heat due this weekend and next week where I am. Have decided that no matter how much weight I lose I do in fact dislike being hot! But so much more comfortable than I would have been a year ago.

@Weightlossprincess it's really difficult to know what symptoms are due to WLI and what aren't, isn't it? I have gone through periods of being tired to my bones and put it down to WLI.
