Definitely not pregnant.

nausea, banging headache and hyper sensitive sense of smell today.

assuming these are typical side effects and - praying - they will pass?!

Very common, although no nausea for me. Hopefully it will pass soon. You are probably at the highest peak of the medication so far, so reducing from now on until the day after the next dose.

Thank you! I was expecting nausea, but not for it to feel like I was pregnant again (that ship has well and truly sailed!!)

Yep, that’s exactly how I would describe it. It was the worst the first week, now I get the odd day when I feel like that. It usually means I need to eat something.

wobblybrain · 04/06/2025 19:36

What have you eaten?

lyinginthebathpondering · 04/06/2025 19:41

I have eaten 3 meals and a couple of crackers as snacks. Nothing fatty or oily or processed!

Drink lots of water (if not doing so already). Ginger tea is also supposed to help.

I had this first two days on 2.5 never had SE since (except slow bowel movement and coldness) im in week 13 on 7.5 mg

Exactly like morning sickness. I’ve been on it 9 months and I’m on 10 - I still get it the day after injecting.

Bumdrops · 04/06/2025 21:22

Water water and more water
and then some water with electrolytes in it -

lyinginthebathpondering · 04/06/2025 21:30

Thanks all! Glad I’m not alone in that sense. It’s a very distinct type of nausea. Brought back memories - DC are now late teens!

Drinking lots of water. Have also ordered some electrolyte fizzer things to make a drink.

hoping a good sleep will improve things!

That's exactly how I felt for the first few days. It improved by day 4. I think it was low blood sugar so try to eat little and often, even if you don't feel like it.

NCfor24 · 07/06/2025 10:07

First few days I was nauseous, exhausted and freezing cold. Then it settled. I'd get the same after going up a dose but only for 24 hours maybe. I always jabbed on a Friday night so I had the weekend to get through it.
I'm now 15 months on Mounjaro, lost 5st and been maintaining for 6 months. It's absolutely life changing and worth sticking with.
