Shopping around - higher doses

Hi, I keep seeing posts from people talking about shopping around for the best deals but how does this work when you’re always climbing up in doses?
for example I get up to 5mg with one provider then find a much cheaper deal elsewhere then I have to start at 2.5 again then up to 5 and then maybe 7.5 but then the costs with that provider go up too much, surely I can only start again from scratch each time with a new provider?

You don't have to start again with each provider, you just have to provide proof of your most recent prescription with the dosage

You confirm to the new provider that you’re already taking MJ.
I take a photo of the prescription label on the box for the dose you’ve been taking and provide that as proof.
