Although in the obese range I don’t qualify on NHS for weight loss jabs.
The GP has however suggested Orlistat .
The side effects I.e if you eat too much fatty food can be pretty awful I gather so I suppose it makes you consider what your eating.

anyone taken this ? If so how was it ?

It depends how disciplined you are.
I have no willpower so continued to eat as normal on Orlistat and then shat myself at work. It was a very low point for me so decided to move onto mounjaro.

I know people who have had this. Runny fecal matter literally running out of them. Sorry.

Op i take it and never had those terrible side effects. But I understand others do. I have the stronger 120mg ones and thankfully never had any issues other than occasionally being bloated and going more often

I tried this years ago (2002) and had to stop after a week as it was giving me such awful diarrhoea and wind. It had got to the point where I was scared to go out in case I got caught short. But I suppose I wasn't sticking religiously to a low fat diet.

Have taken it for five months. No side effects at all. Even after occasional fatty meals

Thanks all. How is the weight loss ?
