Holiday, to jab or not to jab!

Going away for 5 days to Spain 🇪🇸 on Sunday, jab due Saturday, what has everyone been doing? Don't want to be starving all week if I don't jab (going with a fairly new partner), want to be able to eat some nice meals, reduced dose maybe? I'm on 7.5mg and almost at target. Thanks.

Hey!
so you could jab on Saturday and still have the foods you want just smaller portions and new partner can finish off? Or can go for tapas/small plates that most cuisines have to share which is always nice. Or can wait til get back? Mmmmmmmm…if no side effects and you generally feel ok then personally I would jab. Reason being is this is a lifestyle change and for me, I allow “treats” and it’s that behaviour that with reduced burn due to menopause that has been reason for my weight gain. So long term new habits are key for me as opposed to concept of being a weekend warrior wanker in eating well in week and bad at weekends as I used to be able!!! Be interesting to see what others think! I would say go with not triggering your triggers!! So if you are like me, then jab. If not then you could delay?

I would jab in your case to keep the momentum going and show yourself you can have a good holiday and eat in a sensible way.

If you're not dealing with SEs that would spoil the holiday, and since you don't mention it I'm assuming you're not, then definitely jab. There should be plenty of tasty high protein things to feast on and the whole picky nature of tapas in particular means you don't need to be confronted with massive main courses.

Thanks everyone, think I'll jab at a slightly reduced dose, no real SE but struggle with alcohol! Would like a few wines on holiday! Cheers 🥂.
