Was thinking this through over the last few days and I was think gosh I can’t wait until I can sit with my legs crossed easily or not feel so much underarm fat when shaving!

Sounds simple but was it was inspiring me to keep going and I thought maybe there’s other things we can look forward to other than the fitting into clothes/ feeling more positive about how we look.

Help inspire me ! what are you looking forward to being able to do or feel?
or for those further long with your progress what have been the surprising benefits you’ve noticed?

@Elliebearblues@AramintaWildbloode @ShrankLastWinter @HeavyHeidi @Thebigonesgetaway @justhomeshortly can relate to all of your posts relating to clothes and feeling slim, tucking things in and just having more options! I don’t quite the confidence to wear all the things I may want to, however I am making more of an effort with makeup etc so generally feel I look more presentable ( some days anyway!) . I relate to the person who said about “ deserving” things, or deserving to spend time on appearance- I get that too, think that’s been my mental block! you’re all doing fab and I wish everyone every success towards your own personal goals whatever they may be.x

I’ve still got a ways to go but I tried on a jumpsuit today and I didn’t actually look terrible! Normally I’d never even go near something like that and this particular outfit has been in my wardrobe (bought in a sale) and has never fitted. I tried it today and thought it actually looked vaguely ok - going to wait to lose another 7lbs before wearing it publicly - but honestly, I was delighted.

I know that we should rejoice in our bodies whatever shape they are (even while still wanting to be healthier) but my excess weight has always been associated with terrible shame and disgust. Just to be at the point of smiling when I look in the mirror, is an amazing, lovely thing.

I only started WLI yesterday so very new to it all but if all goes well & I manage to lose weight then I’m most looking forward to feeling comfortable in clothes and in myself in general, I’m always pulling my T-shirt outwards, changing my outfit because I don’t like how I feel & trying to sit in positions that hide my body. Also, feeling comfortable in photos, I feel sad to say that I have few photos with me & my children / husband because I hate seeing myself.

I’m sooo looking forward to my wedding and engagement rings fitting me again.

I’d love it if my joints hurt less and I could do push ups.

And of course, not feeling shit on the beach in summer would be AMAZING.

Ooo selling all my size 18 clothes on Vinted too! Can’t wait to go down a size or 2!

I'm looking forward to not lying in bed at night, afraid to go to sleep in case I have a heart attack and die in the night. Anxiety, of course, but MJ seems to have taken away the fear in more ways than one.

I'm looking forward to being able to do things with friends (kayaking, horse riding, outdoorsy things like that) without having to look up the weight limits in advance and then having to pretend I don't actually want to do it so I don't have to admit that I'm scared I'm too close to the limit 😔
