Question about higher doses

Do you lose more easily on higher doses or is it that suppression is higher so your calorie intake is lower? Thanks.

A higher dose really just means greater suppression although there are obviously a higher level of metabolic effects. It is the deficit that causes (most of!) the weight loss though, not the metabolic effects.

Everyone is individual and has their own 'perfect' dose (for a while anyway!). The idea is to be on a dose that helps you feel fuller for longer enabling you to eat the right amount of calories to fuel your body whilst still enabling weight loss. For many, too high a dose means the inability to eat adequate calories. It's all a bit of a personal experiment really!

It really depends on your needs. I was undiagnosed prediabetic for a few years before I started so I needed the higher doses to correct and manage my unstable blood sugars and symptoms. When I got to 10mg I found it easier to lose weight, fast and to avoid carbs. Before this I couldn't fast and craved carbs due to feeling dizzy, ravenous, lethargic, faint when not eating regularly. Ive always been strict on my calories 1200 max and track them from start so it wasn't only calories in and out for me. It also reduces systemic inflammation and has reversed my ibs, excess water retention and all over bloating and sensitive skin issues since I was 16, im now 43. Insulin resistance and pcos and some other conditions also benefit from higher doses.
Someone who is only obese may benefit from a higher dose if the lowers are not effective for them due to suppression allowing easier and bigger calorie deficit.
