I started mounjaro yesterday on 2.5mg and a few hours later I noticed fatigue and a sore back which I couldn't sleep on
The symptoms got worse - tenderness around Chin and Jaw, my neck is so stiff and arms, back and stomach aches.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I did my first injection on Saturday and apart from on and off low-key nausea (and worse after eating my usual size of roast!) nothing so far. I’m not even sure if it’s psychosomatic as the dose is tiny at this stage?

I was reading some threads yesterday and am wondering if it is expected to eat such tiny amounts, or if you just don’t feel hungry for any more? I was kind of hoping to use it like I did vaping to stop smoking, and use to build some better eating/drinking habits, but it looks like people are going drastically calorie deficient.

Hopefully your aches are coincidental and you’ll feel better today.

I think people can get so scared of side effects that they can become a little hypochondriac after starting Mounjaro. I'm not saying your symptoms aren't real but it's unlikely to be related to Mounjaro.

Thank you, i was worried I had a reaction to it. Hopefully will pass.
Yeah ive not been hungry today which is a good sign it's working

Hi,
I’m on week 13 on Mounjaro and have had very few side effects apart from a bit of constipation 😳 3 prunes a day seem to help that though! and feeling cold.
However, on my first week I woke up the day after the jab with an aching neck and armpits, lymph node areas I think. There are lots of threads on MN where this is stated as an SE, it settled down after a day or so and I haven’t experienced it since. Hope yours has settled down too and good luck on your’ MJ journey

I’ve been on it 8 wks and am defo not eating tiny amounts. I eat three meals a day and sometimes a snack in the evening. I’m losing 1 or 2 lbs a week so not massively calorie deficient. I think there are people using the suppression to hardly eat and drop weight quickly but the majority on here are eating sensibly and trying to build healthy habits.

Fatigue can be a side effect. Also I have heard of people with a sore chin and jaw area. Stomach aches are also common. Hope it settles down for you.
