Joint issues

I started in what was then ozempic in December 2022 have lost 4 stones. Have been on the highest dose off Wegovy but no more weight loss so now on mounjaro titrating up gradually
My query is about joint problems
I started having knee problems at the end of last year diagnosed with a condition called sub condroal insufficiency knee fractures in my right knee. Have been on conservative treatment and there is an improvement butt not entirely healed yet.
I feel that I'm beginning to get the same problem in my left knee
I have also been diagnosed with osteopenia
I feel these are related to the weight loss and wondered if anyone ends has had a similar story?
I'm on high dose calcium and vitamin d now plus weight eating exercise but all this came v quickly after the weight loss: medication

This is interesting. I’m on mounjaro (only for four weeks on 2.5 so far). I’ve lost 10 lbs but my toe joints are super painful (I have arthritis in one but the other has been fine until now..). I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not but interested to see what others say.

This is interesting - I’ve had the opposite problem and the drop in weight has actually made my knee issue go away, seems to have reduced the inflammation.

I e been reading that rapid weight loss can cause osteoporosis but mine took ages in fact I'm still pretty hefty .
