3.75 dose from 2.5mg or 5mg

Good morning

started taking this dose from my 2.5 pen via syringe and it’s working well for me so looking to continue.

however I can’t get my brain around if I should order another 2.5 pen and syringe the 3.75 dosage from it 3 times (including golden dose)

or order a 5mg pen and count the clicks and get 5 doses from it then dispose

can anyone advise?

Seems a no brainer to me seeing as they are the same price. Get the 5mg pen of course. Why wouldn’t you?

Yep, get the 5mg, much easier to do and 5 doses for the same price.

5mg - you can use the pen without messing about with syringes and get all 5 doses (45 clicks) out normally before the pen locks.

The first 5 doses on days 0,7,14,21,28 and you can consider if you want to use a 6th dose on day 35 using a syringe (0.45ml). It is 5 days over the discard by days, I do it, but you need to assess the potential risks for yourself.

I assumed the 5mg pen would be more expensive although I hadn’t actually looked into it as yet.

They tend to be exactly the same price. Even if it was a little dearer, getting five, maybe six doses rather than three would still make it quite a bit cheaper than the 2.5mg.
