Cold 🥶….. anyone else?!

Just that really… I’m cold!!! Not many side effects on MJ over the last 12 weeks. Good steady weight loss of 1-2lbs per week. However I am freezing.

Yes!! I really feel the cold now. It’s a known side effect, I think it’s something to do with slowing down your metabolism?

weirdly my tinnitus is worse too. I feel like because the food noise has gone, my tinnitus is louder!!

Ditto. I do feel cold, especially in the evenings. I noticed my tinnitus ramped up after about 2 months on MJ. Rather annoying, hopefully it will go back to 'normal' when I eventually go down the doses.

Yes, this comes up very frequently. It's likely to do with the drug's action on the hypothalamus.

Yes! I'm always cold. Been on mj 6 months now, reached goal weight and ready for maintenance and I've felt bloody freezing throughout the whole journey!! (but we'll appreciate it on the 2 days in summer when it's 32 degrees out!)

Nearly a year on MJ and I am so cold still.

Nope not me but I still have 2 stone to get out of obese.
Having lost nearly 4 1/2 stone I do cope with the warmer weather much better though.

Yes! It’s been my main side effect from the start. I spent Jan-April under an electric throw for 48hrs post injection and now it’s warmer but my feet are still freezing 🥶

I'm on wegovy but yeah, definitely feel the cold. I was shivering today, the thermostat said it was 20 degrees in the house 😄 but if that's the worst side effect I'm happy to put another jumper on (thankfully most of them are way too big now so I can layer 😁)

Oh, last night I couldn't get warm at all in bed, so I turned on the electric blanket in the end.

Yes I’ve been dithering. Even during the warm weather the past few weeks, I’ve been sat with a fleece jacket on while WFH.

I feel cold a lot too. I didn’t know it was a side effect.

I experienced this for a few days after each dose but haven’t had it the past couple of weeks I must admit.

Completely cured menopausal night sweats i had suffered fron fot 15 years.

Yep, very cold most of the time since I started taking it mid February. It's been the only side effect I've had though so feel lucky really

Yes, definitely feeling cold! I am regretting putting the summer duvets on the bed!

I have a large, oversized hoodie from my swim club and appear to be living in it.

Looking forward to the next heatwave though - I may finally thaw out a bit and shed the hoodie.
