Anyone on here on an NHS prescription for Diabetes?

I'm prescribed MJ by my GP. I started taking it in February. At that point my BMI was 27.3. it's now 24.3 so in the "healthy" range.

I started it as I was unable to reduce my HBA1C level. It's been like a wonder drug. My HBA1C has gone down from 75 to 45 so nearly in the correct range as well. I don't really care about the weight loss but I am desperate for my blood sugar to be controlled.

I've got a review with my diabetes nurse in a couple of weeks and am very worried that she will advise the GP to stop prescribing. I really don't want to risk my blood sugars going up. Has anyone else been in this position? I'd be prepared to buy privately if necessary but no provider would allow me to start with a BMI of 24.3 or lower

if you have proof of previous prescriptions some of the providers that do maintenance might take you on maintenance
